Fits Bea-fon S30, S31, and S31 EU001B smartphones as a direct cell replacement.
3.7V, 950mAh capacity restores full talk and standby time on this entry-level phone.
Connector is a two-pin JST type; slides into the battery compartment with flat orientation.
We bench-tested the BMS on a full charge cycle; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without lockout faults.
On first use, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before resuming normal calling patterns — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bea-fon S30 / S31 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Bea-fon S30, S31, and S31 EU001B mobile phones. It fits the standard battery bay on all three models without modification. Capacity figures come from the product data: 950mAh / 3.52Wh.

  • S30 / S31 / S31 EU001B shared battery platform: All three models use the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector pinout. Bea-fon carried the same cell specification across this series, so one replacement covers all three variants without adapters or wiring changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes, monitoring the BMS cutoff at the low-voltage threshold. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the undervoltage limit and resumed charge acceptance without manual reset.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before resuming normal use. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference curve against the new cell — skipping it causes the percentage counter to drift against the new cell's actual discharge profile.

Why the S30 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The S30 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its charge estimate from the previous cell's discharge curve stored in memory. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The IC reads voltage correctly but maps it to the wrong percentage. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge forces the IC to rewrite the reference curve against the new cell's actual behaviour.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — voice calls, screen-on data, or GPS — before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC predicts remaining charge from a static curve, but under high current draw the cell voltage sags faster than the model expects and the protection circuit cuts power. It is not a faulty battery; it is the IC still working from an uncalibrated curve. Run two full discharge-charge cycles and the shutdowns should stop. If they persist past two cycles, check that the battery contacts in the bay are clean and seated flat against the cell pads.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone powers on but shuts off by itself when I make a call or open the camera — the battery still shows 25%

That is a voltage sag shutdown. Under the current draw of a voice call or camera sensor, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC predicts, and the protection circuit cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a defective cell — the IC is still calibrated to the old battery's discharge curve. Run two complete discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycles, and the shutdowns should stop.

My phone shows the battery jumping from 60% straight to 40% with no warning — it never did this with the old battery

The fuel gauge IC recalibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve over the first few cycles. Until it has enough data, the percentage reading tracks voltage in coarse steps rather than a smooth curve, which looks like sudden jumps. This is normal for the first two to three cycles after a cell replacement. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption, and the IC will stabilise its readings.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks

A cell stored at low charge loses voltage through self-discharge, and if it drops below roughly 2.5V the BMS locks out to prevent damage — the phone will not power on and may not respond to a charger. Connect the phone to a wall charger using the original cable and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons; the charge IC applies a low-current trickle to bring the cell back above the BMS unlock threshold. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, charge fully before powering on.
