Fits MyPhone 9025 TV smartphone, replaces OEM part MP-S-O.
3.7V and 950mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this entry-level device after battery degradation.
Connector slides into the battery slot with single mechanical locking tab — no proprietary contacts.
We bench-tested this cell in the 9025 TV; BMS accepted charge without fault codes on first cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone 9025 TV Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MP-S-O)

This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the MyPhone 9025 TV, 9025TV Moon, and 9025 smartphones. It matches the OEM part number MP-S-O and fits the original battery compartment at 46.47 × 39.79 × 5.33mm. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge between top-ups.

  • 9025 TV and 9025TV Moon compatibility: These variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits all four listed models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the 9025 platform and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without triggering a fault state. Cutoff voltage held correctly at the low end, and the charge IC reached full termination without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle after installation. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve. Running one complete slow cycle gives the coulomb counter a clean reference before high-current charging is applied to the new cell.

Why the 9025 TV reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the 9025 platform tracks charge state using a coulomb counter calibrated against the original cell's discharge curve. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry. The IC reports stale data until it re-learns the new cell's behaviour. One full slow discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a complete charge to 100%, resets the calibration and brings percentage reporting back in line.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during screen-on peaks or active data use — before the fuel gauge reaches its low-battery warning threshold. The phone shuts down because the cell cannot sustain the voltage rail, even though the reported percentage looks safe. It is not a faulty battery; it is the fuel gauge IC still using the old cell's curve to estimate remaining charge. Complete one full slow discharge-charge cycle and the shutdowns will stop as the counter recalibrates to the new cell's actual voltage cliff point.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone powered off at around 25% and now won't turn back on — is the battery dead?

The cell likely dropped below the BMS lockout threshold during that shutdown, especially if the phone sat unused for a while afterward. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — the BMS needs trickle current to recover from the sub-2.5V lockout state. If the screen shows a charging indicator at any point, the cell is recovering. Once it reaches approximately 3.6V, the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted this replacement — the phone only slow-charges now

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the 9025's charge IC can fall back to standard 5V charging because the new BMS hasn't completed its initial handshake with the phone's USB-PD negotiation logic. This is normal behaviour on the first cycle. Complete one full standard charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charging resumes once the charge IC accepts the new cell's parameters after that first completed cycle.

The battery percentage keeps jumping — it goes from 60% down to 40% in seconds without any heavy use

This is the coulomb counter recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve. The IC has stored data from the original cell and is applying that curve to a cell with different characteristics, so the percentage readings are inconsistent. Run one complete discharge — let the phone run on screen until it shuts itself off — then charge fully to 100% on a standard charger without interruption. After that single full cycle, the percentage readings will stabilise.
