This is a 3.85V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Cricket Influence V350C smartphone. It matches the OEM part number VSM3300 and fits the V350C's internal battery bay. Voltage and capacity are spec-matched to the original cell.
- V350C battery bay fit: The VSM3300 footprint measures 81.40 × 61.00 × 3.80mm — the same dimensions as the factory cell. The connector pinout and BMS handshake align with the V350C's charge IC, so the phone recognises the cell on first boot without triggering a hardware fault.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench, monitoring BMS communication with the charge IC. The protection circuit responded correctly to charge cutoff at 4.35V and did not trip on normal screen-on load current.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.
Why the V350C reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The V350C uses a coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC that builds its model from previous cycle history. When the old cell is removed, that history no longer matches the new cell's discharge curve. The IC keeps using the old model, which causes the percentage to read high or low until it recalibrates. One full uninterrupted discharge and charge cycle at standard rate resets the reference and brings the percentage back in line.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC's state-of-charge model drifts from the actual cell voltage. Under modem transmit load or screen brightness spikes, the cell voltage drops sharply — the phone hits the hardware undervoltage cutoff before the software percentage reaches zero. The IC hasn't yet mapped where the new cell's voltage cliff sits. Run the phone down to auto-shutdown once without fast charging, then charge fully to 100% — after that cycle the IC anchors its low-voltage threshold to the correct point on the new cell's curve.

The V350C won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Likely not dead, but the BMS has locked out below 2.5V per cell from self-discharge during storage. Plug in a known-good charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before voltage rises enough for the BMS to release the lockout. If the charging LED or screen does not respond after 30 minutes, try a different cable and USB power source before drawing any other conclusion.
Fast charging stopped working on the V350C after I put in the replacement battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake can fail because the BMS presents higher impedance than the charge IC expects from a fully conditioned cell. Complete one full standard-rate charge to 100%, then unplug and let the phone sit for two minutes before reconnecting. Most V350C units re-negotiate the fast-charge protocol correctly on the second cycle once the BMS has settled.
The battery percentage on my V350C keeps jumping around — it reads 45%, then drops to 28%, then jumps back up within a few minutes.
Erratic percentage jumps point to the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar discharge curve on the new cell. The coulomb counter is interpolating between data points it collected from the old cell, so readings fluctuate until it builds a new model. Run the phone from 100% down to automatic shutdown without interruption, then charge fully in one session — this gives the IC a complete discharge curve to anchor against and the percentage should stabilise after that cycle.
