Fits Highscreen Omega Prime XL smartphone, replaces OEM part number B2800.
3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity to the handset without voltage sag during peak modem load.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; seat flush and ensure the contact plate aligns before closing the compartment.
We ran full discharge cycles on a fresh unit — the BMS accepted standard charge current immediately with no fault or cutoff anomalies.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Highscreen Omega Prime XL — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B2800)

The B2800 is a 3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell for the Highscreen Omega Prime XL smartphone. It replaces the original battery when capacity fade or charge failure makes the phone unreliable. Voltage and capacity match the OEM specification exactly.

  • Omega Prime XL fit: The Omega Prime XL uses a single-cell 3.7V nominal architecture with a connector and BMS handshake specific to this chassis. The B2800 matches that connector pinout and voltage rail — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Omega Prime XL platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, completed a full charge cycle without interrupt, and reported state-of-charge correctly after one conditioning cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Omega Prime XL after a cell swap

The Omega Prime XL's fuel gauge IC holds a discharge curve learned from the original cell. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC miscalculates the voltage cliff — the point where cell voltage collapses under modem or screen load. The phone cuts power before the display percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted full charge resets the coulomb counter and brings percentage reporting back in line with actual cell state.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the B2800 has been stored for several months, the cell voltage may have dropped below 2.5V — the threshold where the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to a short press of the power button in this state. Connect the phone to a low-current charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage clears the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Omega Prime XL shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is that the new cell or the phone?

That's a fuel gauge IC calibration mismatch, not a faulty cell. The IC is still reading the discharge curve of the old battery, so it misjudges when the new cell's voltage will drop under load from the modem or display. Run one full discharge to shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that single cycle the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's curve and shutdowns at false percentages stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped in the new battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On some Omega Prime XL units the charge IC doesn't negotiate the higher current protocol on the very first cycle with a new cell. The BMS on the replacement cell starts in a conservative current-limiting state until it logs a complete charge cycle. Charge the phone fully once on standard slow charge, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charge handshake resumes on the second cycle in most cases.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — going from 60% up to 75% and back without charging.

Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating in real time against a cell it hasn't fully profiled yet. The IC is interpolating state-of-charge from incomplete data, so small load changes cause large displayed swings. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the IC builds enough data points to track the new cell's discharge curve accurately — percentage reporting stabilises from cycle three onward.
