Fits Samsung SGH-S300, SGH-S307, and SGH-S308 — replaces OEM part BST1318SE, BSL1315LE, BST1318DE.
Delivers 3.7V at 850mAh capacity — provides 3.15Wh to run the modem, display, and processor on a single charge cycle.
Connector seats into the battery slot with flat contact alignment — the retention clip on the device frame holds the pack vertical against the contacts.
We bench tested this cell on a SGH-S300 modem load — the BMS initialized without cutoff, and voltage held steady through a full discharge at 200mA draw.
After installation, run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle without interrupting the phone before relying on the fuel gauge IC percentage readout — the coulomb counter needs to calibrate against this cell's actual discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung SGH-S300 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BST1318SE)

This is a 3.7V, 850mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung SGH-S300, SGH-S307, and SGH-S308 mobile phones. It replaces OEM part numbers BST1318SE, BSL1315LE, and BST1318DE. If the original cell has degraded, swollen, or stopped holding a charge, this unit restores power to the handset.

  • SGH-S300 / S307 / S308 compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V nominal rail, and connector pinout — the same cell fits all without modification to contacts or housing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SGH-S300 platform. The BMS accepted charging without tripping overcurrent protection, and voltage held steady through full discharge without an early cutoff event.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The SGH-S300's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve — one complete cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SGH-S300 after a cell swap

This happens because the phone's fuel gauge IC still references the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff at low state-of-charge — the phone's power IC sees terminal voltage drop below its cutoff threshold before the percentage counter reaches zero. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. One full discharge-charge cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to remap the curve against the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS trips its deep-discharge lockout and blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. The phone will show no response — no boot screen, no charging indicator. Connect the handset to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power it on. Once the BMS detects voltage has recovered above its reinitialisation threshold, the charging indicator will appear and normal operation resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my SGH-S300 show the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the SGH-S300 uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell with a different internal resistance and capacity profile causes the counter to report inaccurate state-of-charge readings until it recalibrates. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that single cycle, the fuel gauge IC remaps against the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

The SGH-S300 feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell typically has higher internal impedance on its first few charge cycles compared to a conditioned cell. The charge IC compensates by pushing slightly more voltage into the cell, which generates mild heat at the battery contact area. This is normal during the first two to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell conditions. If the handset becomes hot to the touch or charging stops prematurely, disconnect and let it cool to room temperature before resuming.

My SGH-S300's battery percentage jumps around erratically — it drops 10% in seconds, then reads higher a moment later.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC symptom, not a cell fault. The coulomb counter loses tracking accuracy when the cell's actual discharge curve no longer matches the stored reference — common after a cell swap or after the original cell degraded unevenly. Force a full recalibration cycle: discharge the phone completely until it shuts itself off, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100% without using the phone during charging. Check the percentage reading after the cycle completes at 4.2V.
