Fits Schok Flip SC3218T and SC3218B with OEM part number SB2000 replacement.
3.8V at 2100mAh capacity delivers stable voltage for calls, messaging, and standby throughout a full day.
Connector slides straight in with no locking tab — orientation marked on the cell matches the slot.
We ran a full discharge curve on the bench; BMS accepted the charge handshake cleanly with no early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to recalibrate the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schok Flip SC3218T / SC3218B — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SB2000)

This 3.8V, 2100mAh Li-ion cell replaces the OEM SB2000 battery in the Schok Flip SC3218T and SC3218B. It fits the same physical footprint at 63.50 × 50.00 × 5.50mm and drops into the battery bay without modification. Capacity figures come from the product data — 7.98Wh total energy storage.

  • SC3218T and SC3218B share the same cell: Both variants use the same SB2000 form factor, voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake is identical across both board revisions, so one cell covers both models without any firmware distinction.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SC3218T chassis. The BMS accepted charge current without tripping, held voltage above 3.6V through mid-discharge, and terminated charge cleanly at full capacity.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC on the SC3218T is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. One complete cycle lets the coulomb counter re-anchor its endpoints to the new cell before fast charge pushes high current into an uncalibrated measurement baseline.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Schok Flip SC3218T

This is a voltage cliff failure. The modem radio on a flip phone draws a sharp current spike during a call or data burst. If the cell cannot sustain voltage under that load, it sags below the BMS cutoff threshold — typically 3.0V — and the phone shuts off even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A new cell with full capacity handles the load spike without sagging. If shutdowns persist after fitting this replacement, run the phone down to 5% on one full cycle to force the coulomb counter to reset its low-voltage anchor point.

Phone won't power on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell drops below 2.5V per cell, the BMS locks out charge input as a protection measure — the phone appears completely dead and won't respond to the charger. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it untouched for 15–30 minutes. Most chargers trickle a small pre-charge current below the BMS lockout threshold, which nudges the cell voltage back above 2.5V and allows the BMS to re-initialise. Once the BMS unlocks, normal charging resumes and the phone will boot.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Schok Flip SC3218T shuts off mid-call even though the battery shows 25% — is the new cell defective?

This is a voltage sag issue, not a defective cell. During a call, the modem radio draws a sharp current spike that drops cell voltage faster than the fuel gauge can track. If the voltage dips below the BMS cutoff — around 3.0V — the phone shuts down even with percentage remaining on screen. Run one full discharge cycle down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. This resets the coulomb counter's endpoints and the shutdowns typically stop.

The battery percentage on my SC3218T is jumping around erratically after I fitted the replacement — what's causing it?

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped to the old, degraded cell. With a new cell, the voltage-to-capacity relationship is different, so the coulomb counter loses its reference points and reports erratic numbers. One complete cycle — discharge until the phone shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — gives the IC enough data to remap the curve to the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery in my Schok Flip SC3218T — the phone only slow-charges now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC often defaults to a conservative current limit until the BMS confirms the new cell is within safe parameters. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Let the phone complete one full charge at the slow rate without unplugging it early. On the second and subsequent cycles, the charge IC re-negotiates current with the BMS and fast charging resumes. If it still slow-charges after three full cycles, check that the cable and adapter support the SC3218T's charge protocol.
