Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens M300 / M100 / M315 / M220 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-ion battery for the Siemens M300, M100, M315, and M220 mobile phones. These four models share the same battery bay dimensions and cell format — 52.61 × 34.40 × 6.45mm — so one SKU covers all four. Voltage and capacity match the original factory specification.

  • M300, M100, M315, M220 compatibility: All four phones use the same physical cell size and 3.7V single-cell Li-ion voltage rail. The connector pinout and BMS charge handshake are consistent across the range, so no adapters or modifications are needed when swapping between these models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the M300 platform. The BMS accepted charge termination cleanly at 4.2V and cut off discharge at the low-voltage threshold without triggering any unexpected shutdowns during normal load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if your charger supports it and run one complete discharge-charge cycle before heavy use. This allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before it reports percentage readings to the OS.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Siemens M300 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue. At 20–30% state-of-charge, a new cell's internal impedance can cause a brief voltage drop under modem or display load — enough to cross the BMS cutoff threshold even though capacity remains. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads remaining charge. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and resolves premature shutdowns on most units.

Phone shows incorrect battery percentage after replacement cell installed

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell characteristics, so percentage readings appear wrong or jump erratically. Drain the battery until the phone shuts off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. After one full cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates and percentage accuracy stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Siemens M300 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

This is a BMS lockout from deep discharge. If a Li-ion cell drops below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage, the protection circuit locks the battery out to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. Most locked-out cells recover once the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 2.9V.

The M300 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the new cell — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell converts slightly more energy to heat during the initial charge cycles than a broken-in cell does. This is normal for the first two to three cycles and should reduce noticeably after that. If the phone stays warm beyond the third full charge cycle, check that the battery sits flat in the bay without contact pressure on the case — heat trapped by a poorly seated cell can extend the warm-up period. No action needed if warmth stops after early cycles.

Fast charging stopped working on my M300 after I replaced the battery — the phone just charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC may not complete the USB handshake required to step up to higher current. This happens because the BMS presents different impedance characteristics on a new cell and the protocol negotiation times out conservatively. Unplug, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect — on most units this resets the handshake and fast charge resumes. If it does not, run one standard-speed full charge cycle first; fast charge typically re-enables on the second cycle once the BMS registers a completed charge event.
