Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ulefone Paris Lite / Be Touch Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (29-1100-000-00)
This is a 3.7V, 1950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Ulefone Paris Lite, Be Touch, Be Touch 2, and Be Touch 3 smartphones. It matches OEM part number 29-1100-000-00. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge through a full day of use or fails to power the phone at all.
- Paris Lite and Be Touch platform compatibility: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — 81.02 x 60.00 x 4.82mm cell with a matched protection circuit. One part number covers all four.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the charge IC. Protection thresholds triggered at expected cutoff voltages — no false trips, no runaway charging.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. The fuel gauge IC on these Ulefone models calibrates its coulomb counter against the cell's discharge curve on that first cycle. Running fast charge before calibration completes pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell and skews percentage readings for weeks.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Paris Lite after a cell swap
The Paris Lite reads remaining charge using a coulomb counter that was tuned to the discharge curve of the original aged cell. A new cell has a steeper voltage drop at the bottom of its charge curve than the worn cell the firmware expects. When screen brightness and modem load spike simultaneously, the new cell's voltage dips below the emergency cutoff threshold — even though the OS gauge still shows 25%. This is a fuel gauge calibration gap, not a cell fault. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging and the cutoff behaviour will normalise as the IC maps the new cell's actual curve.
Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery has been stored for several months, its resting voltage may have dropped below 2.5V per cell — the threshold at which the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage. The phone will show no sign of life and may not respond to a charger. Connect a known-good USB cable and charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits on these Ulefone models will accept a trickle current and recover from lockout once the cell climbs back above 2.8V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The battery percentage on my Paris Lite keeps jumping around after I put in the new battery — is the replacement faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Paris Lite stores a learned discharge curve from the old battery, and a new cell with different impedance throws that calibration off immediately. Erratic percentage readings — jumping 10–15 points or stalling at one number for long stretches — are the coulomb counter recalibrating in real time. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles with fast charging turned off and the readings will stabilise.
Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my Be Touch — it only charges slowly now.
On the Be Touch models, the charge IC negotiates the fast-charge protocol with the battery's BMS on the first connection. If the BMS hasn't completed its initialisation handshake — which can happen if the cell voltage was low when installed — the IC defaults to standard 5V/1A charging as a safety fallback. Power the phone off, connect the charger for 15 minutes, then power back on. If fast charging still doesn't engage after a full charge cycle, clear the battery stats in the phone's engineer menu and reboot.
My Paris Lite feels warm near the back where the battery sits while it's charging — should I be concerned?
Mild warmth during charging on a freshly installed cell is expected. A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat in the first few cycles as it pushes current through that resistance. The temperature should drop noticeably after three to five full charge cycles as the cell conditions. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — or the back panel distorts, stop charging immediately and check that the battery connector is fully seated without any flex in the cable.
