Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo S19 — 3.84V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BA47)

This is a Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Vivo S19 smartphone. It carries the OEM part number BA47 and delivers 3.84V at 5850mAh (22.46Wh). It fits the S19 directly and restores power to a phone whose original cell has degraded or failed.

  • Vivo S19 fit: The S19 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack with a proprietary BMS handshake tied to the BA47 spec. The connector pinout and charge-termination voltage on this replacement match the original, so the charge IC accepts the cell without error flags.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the S19 platform. The BMS completed full charge termination at 4.35V and low-voltage cutoff triggered correctly before reaching cell damage threshold. No thermal events were recorded.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the coulomb counter locks in its reference points — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings for the first several days.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Vivo S19 after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a steeper voltage cliff than a worn cell. When the S19's modem fires a burst transmission or the display peaks in brightness, current draw spikes sharply. If the fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated to the new cell's internal resistance, it misreads the remaining capacity and the phone shuts down well above 0%. One full slow-rate discharge cycle closes that gap. After that cycle, the coulomb counter holds its reference and the shutdowns stop.

USB-PD or fast charge protocol not accepted on the first cycle after replacement

The Vivo S19 charge IC negotiates fast charge by querying BMS state on startup. A freshly installed cell with an uncalibrated BMS will sometimes fail that handshake and the phone falls back to standard 5V charging. This isn't a fault with the charger or cable. Charge the phone once at standard rate until full, then disconnect and reconnect — the BMS re-registers and the fast charge negotiation succeeds on the next plug-in cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo S19 shuts off at around 25% battery — is this a fault with the replacement cell?

This is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a defective cell. The S19's coulomb counter is still mapped to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges the voltage cliff on the new BA47 cell under screen or modem load. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate. After that single cycle the fuel gauge resets its reference and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone shows 100% charge but drops to 80% within minutes of unplugging — what's causing that?

That jump is the fuel gauge IC correcting itself in real time after an uncalibrated install. The S19 stored charge state data from the old degraded cell, and the new 5850mAh BA47 cell doesn't match that profile yet. The fix is the same full discharge-recharge cycle at standard rate — once the coulomb counter finishes that pass, percentage readings stabilise and the sudden early drop disappears.

My Vivo S19 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is it dead?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the BA47 cell dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS has entered lockout mode to protect the cell from permanent damage. The phone won't respond to the power button in this state. Connect it to a charger and leave it untouched for 20–30 minutes — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold. Once voltage crosses approximately 3.0V, the BMS re-initialises and the phone will power on normally.
