Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer G752VS Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (0B110-00380000)
This is a 14.4V, 5800mAh (83.52Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Acer G752VS gaming laptop and its variants, including the BA184T, BA185T, and BA191T. It fits the full G752VS line sharing the 0B110-00380000, 0B110-00380200, and A42N1520 part numbers. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or fails to register in the system.
- G752VS platform fit: Every model in the G752VS line runs the same 14.4V four-cell battery rail with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake. That shared architecture is why one cell fits all 55+ variants without firmware changes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a G752VS unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the EC, reported accurate state-of-charge, and held voltage under a sustained CPU plus display load without triggering a low-voltage cutoff prematurely.
- First-cycle calibration on the G752VS: After installation, run the laptop on battery until it reaches hibernate-cutoff, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the G752VS EC to relearn the cell's capacity curve and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
Why the G752VS BIOS reports poor battery health immediately after a cell swap
The G752VS stores battery health data in EEPROM on the embedded controller. When a new cell goes in, the EC compares current readings against the stored profile from the old, degraded cell. The mismatch triggers a "poor health" or "replace battery" warning even though the new cell is fully functional. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the learn cycle and clears the warning.
G752VS shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on the fuel gauge
This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The displayed percentage is still mapped to the old, depleted cell's profile, so the EC hits a voltage floor the gauge doesn't show accurately and cuts power. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles and the fuel gauge IC will recalibrate — shutdowns at false percentages stop once the reading tracks actual cell voltage, which should hold above 13.6V at the 20% mark after calibration.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Acer G752VS battery info screen shows the wrong Wh rating after I swapped the cell — is something wrong with the new battery?
The Wh value displayed in Windows or the BIOS is pulled from the EEPROM data stored on the old cell's controller, not measured directly from the new one. After a cell swap, the embedded controller needs time to overwrite that stored value through calibration cycles. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted-charge cycles and the reported Wh figure will update to reflect the new cell's actual 83.52Wh rating.
My G752VS shows 0% or "unknown" in Windows immediately after fitting the new battery — the laptop only works plugged in.
This is an EEPROM initialisation issue. The Windows fuel gauge driver reads state-of-charge data from the battery's embedded controller, and on a fresh cell that handshake hasn't completed yet. Boot the laptop on AC power, let it sit for five minutes so the EC can establish communication, then unplug and let the battery discharge normally. If the 0% reading persists past one full cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated — an incomplete connection prevents the BMS from talking to the EC.
The G752VS stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — is the new cell faulty?
Almost certainly not. The G752VS BIOS includes a charge-limit feature that caps charging at 80% when battery care mode is enabled. Check the MyAcer app or the BIOS power settings under "Battery Health Charging." Disable the charge limit or switch from "Balance" to "Maximum Capacity" mode, then reconnect the charger — the battery will charge to 100%.
