Fits Acer TravelMate 350, 351, 352, 353 and replaces OEM part BTP-41D1.
11.1V 3600mAh cell delivers full voltage under sustained CPU and display load on this business notebook.
Connector seats flat into the battery bay slot with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We bench-tested this cell on a TravelMate 350 motherboard; the BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes on first charge cycle.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer TravelMate 350 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BTP-41D1)

This is an 11.1V, 3600mAh (39.96Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Acer TravelMate 350, 351, 352, and 353 series laptops. It replaces OEM part numbers BTP-41D1, BTP41D1, and 60.45H03.011. Fits directly into the original battery bay with no modification.

  • TravelMate 350 series compatibility: The 350, 351, 352, and 353 share the same battery bay format, connector pinout, and 11.1V three-cell power rail. One cell fits the full group — no adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on TravelMate hardware. The BMS communicated correctly with the system board, accepted a full charge, and held voltage within spec across the discharge curve.
  • First-cycle reset after install: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge down to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears on the first boot after any cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after swap

The TravelMate BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM and carries a cached state into the first session with the new battery. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is stale data from the previous unit. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge forces the BIOS to rewrite its battery learn data against the new cell. After that cycle, the health indicator should return to normal.

TravelMate shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual chemistry. The gauge shows 20–30% remaining, but the cell voltage has already dropped below the threshold the system board needs to sustain the CPU and display together under load. It reads as a sudden shutdown rather than an orderly hibernate. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles — the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against real cell behaviour each time. After calibration, the gauge and actual voltage should align, with low-battery warnings triggering above 3.0V per cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My TravelMate 350 BIOS is showing the battery as "unknown" or 0% right after I fitted the new cell — is it dead?

It is not dead. The BIOS is reading stale EEPROM data cached from the old battery. Run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff on the new cell, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle rewrites the BIOS battery learn data against the new cell, and the unknown or 0% reading clears.

The charge stopped at 80% and will not go higher — did I get a faulty battery?

On TravelMate hardware, Acer's BIOS firmware can enforce a charge ceiling of 80% as a battery-preservation setting. This is a BIOS-controlled limit, not a fault in the cell itself. Check the Power Management section in BIOS setup — look for a charge limit or battery health mode option and disable it. Once that setting is off, the battery will charge to 100%.

Windows is showing the wrong Wh rating for this battery — it says something different from what I expected. Should I be worried?

The Wh figure Windows reads comes from the EEPROM data embedded in the cell, which stores the rated capacity at manufacture. The actual chemistry in a replacement cell can differ slightly from the original OEM figure, so the reported Wh may not match exactly. This does not affect how the battery charges or discharges. Run two full calibration cycles and check whether the reported figure stabilises — if it does, the fuel gauge IC has locked onto the real cell data.
