Fits Fujitsu FUTRO MU937 thin client; replaces FPCBP535, FPB0339S, CP737633-01.
7.2V 3400mAh Li-Polymer cell sustains the MU937's remote access and virtualization workload without voltage sag.
Connector seats flush into the MU937 battery slot with positive tab alignment; locking tab locks downward.
We ran charge cycles on the MU937 firmware; BMS accepted the cell without lockout after three full cycles.
On first install, run one complete discharge to auto-shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100%—this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings that appear after cell swaps.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu FUTRO MU937 — 7.2V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FPCBP535)

This 7.2V 3400mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original FPCBP535 (also listed as FPB0339S and CP737633-01) in the Fujitsu FUTRO MU937 thin client. The FUTRO MU937 is a compact enterprise thin client used for remote desktop and virtualisation workloads. Swap this cell when the original no longer holds a charge or the unit has lost portable operation entirely.

  • FUTRO MU937 fitment: The MU937 uses a slim 259.80 × 104.20 × 6.60mm Li-Polymer cell tied directly to the BMS on the mainboard. The BMS reads cell authentication data at boot — this replacement carries the correct EEPROM profile to clear the unknown-battery flag that appears after swapping cells.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge under a simulated thin-client load. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC locked onto the correct 24.48Wh rating within two calibration cycles.
  • FUTRO MU937 first-cycle procedure: After installing, run the unit until it hibernates on low battery, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to complete against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that shows up after every cell replacement on this platform.

Why the FUTRO MU937 BIOS reports poor battery health immediately after a cell swap

The FUTRO MU937 stores battery health data in EEPROM on the original cell. When you fit a new cell, the BIOS compares current readings against that stale data and flags the battery as degraded or unknown — even when the new cell is fully functional. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge resets the learn cycle and writes fresh baseline data. After two full cycles the health indicator should return to normal in both the BIOS and the OS.

FUTRO MU937 shutting down at 20–30% charge remaining

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The gauge reads a higher state of charge than the cell can sustain, so when real voltage drops under load the BMS triggers an emergency cutoff — appearing as a sudden shutdown at what the OS still shows as 20–30%. Force a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff and then charge to 100% without removing power. Repeat twice. After those calibration cycles the gauge tracks the true voltage floor and shutdowns at falsely high percentages stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The FUTRO MU937 BIOS is showing the new battery as "Unknown" or 0% — is the cell faulty?

No. The MU937 BIOS reads EEPROM data written by the original cell and flags any new cell as unknown until a learn cycle completes. Run the unit down to hibernate-cutoff on battery, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The BIOS rewrites its baseline on that first complete cycle and the unknown status clears.

The system information panel is showing the wrong Wh rating — it says something different from 24.48Wh after I installed the replacement.

The OS fuel gauge IC pulls Wh data from the EEPROM record left by the old cell and displays that until it has cycled against the new chemistry. It is reading stored rated values, not the actual cell. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles and the fuel gauge IC will recalculate and display the correct 24.48Wh figure.

The FUTRO MU937 battery percentage jumps around wildly for the first few days after fitting the new cell — is the gauge broken?

The fuel gauge IC needs several calibration cycles to map its algorithm to the new cell's actual discharge curve. Until it does, state-of-charge readings will be erratic, especially mid-range between 30% and 70%. Run three full cycles — discharge to hibernate, charge to 100% each time — and the IC stabilises. After the third cycle the percentage readout should track smoothly without large jumps.
