Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hasee 7G X3P Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (916Q2232H)
This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh (38.48Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Hasee 7G X3P and related notebook models. It replaces OEM parts including 916Q2232H, SQU-1201, SQU-1202, SQU-1301, SQU-1302, and CQB-924 across the 7G-U and 9744S series. When the original cell degrades and the laptop loses cordless operation, this cell restores normal portable function.
- 7G-U and 9744S series fitment: These models share a common 14.8V four-cell architecture with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. The battery management system on each variant expects the same charge termination signal, so one cell covers the full model range listed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a 7G-series board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at 16.8V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Post-install calibration on Hasee BIOS: After fitting this cell, run a full discharge until the laptop enters hibernate, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell
The Hasee BIOS stores battery health data in EEPROM linked to the original cell's charge history. When a new cell is installed, the firmware reads stale EEPROM values and flags the battery as degraded before a single cycle has run. This is a firmware calibration issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% overwrites the cached data and clears the warning.
Laptop shuts down abruptly at 20–30% charge shown on screen
This happens when the cell voltage drops below the sustainable threshold under combined CPU and display load before the fuel gauge reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped the new cell's actual discharge curve, so it shows remaining capacity that the cell cannot physically deliver under load. It is not a faulty battery — it is an uncalibrated fuel gauge. Run two to three full discharge-to-hibernate and full-recharge cycles to let the IC build an accurate voltage-to-capacity map against the new cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Hasee shows the new battery as "0% available (plugged in, not charging)" right after I installed it — what's happening?
The BIOS pulled EEPROM data from the old cell and hasn't accepted the new one yet. Shut down fully, remove the AC adapter for 30 seconds, then reconnect and boot. If the system still won't charge, trigger a battery learn cycle — discharge fully to hibernate, then charge uninterrupted to 16.8V (100%). That forces the BMS and BIOS to re-initialise communication with the new cell.
System info shows the battery rated at a completely different Wh than what the product lists — is this cell wrong?
It's not wrong. The Wh figure shown in Windows or the BIOS reads from EEPROM data embedded in the cell, which reflects the OEM-rated chemistry value rather than the bench-measured actual capacity. The 916Q2232H and related part numbers covering this series all show minor Wh discrepancies in system info across BIOS versions. The cell is operating correctly — check actual charge behaviour over two full cycles rather than the system info readout.
Charge stops at 80% and won't go higher — is the battery faulty or is something else limiting it?
On Hasee notebooks, a BIOS-level charge limit can cap charging at 80% as a battery preservation setting. This is firmware behaviour, not a cell fault. Go into the BIOS power settings or any pre-installed Hasee battery utility and check whether a charge threshold is enabled. Disable the limit or set it to 100%, then run a full charge cycle to confirm the cell reaches 16.8V.
