Fits Nexoc G734II notebook; replaces OEM battery for G734, G734II (NEXOC734005, NEXOC734004, NEXOC734003 variants).
Delivers 14.8V and 4000mAh (59.2Wh) lithium-ion; matches original output for full CPU and display runtime.
Connector clips into the stock slot; locking tab aligns with the chassis retention bracket; no adapter needed.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted charge input without fault codes; voltage held steady under sustained load draw.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell replacement.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nexoc G734II Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V, 4000mAh (59.2Wh) Li-ion battery for the Nexoc G734II and related G734 variants. It fits the G734 (NEXOC734003), G734 (NEXOC734004), and G734 (NEXOC734005) configurations, along with five additional G734 models. If your original cell no longer holds charge or the laptop shuts off under load, this is the direct replacement.

  • G734 series compatibility: All covered models share the same 14.8V four-cell Li-ion architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The thermal and voltage rails are identical across the G734 line, so one cell spec covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, full-load discharge, and BMS communication checks. The protection circuit responded correctly to over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit events. No BMS lockout was triggered during standard charge cycles.
  • Post-install calibration on the G734: After fitting this battery, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff on a real workload — not idle — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell's actual capacity curve, clearing the false "poor health" warning that appears after any cell swap on this platform.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after installation

The G734 BIOS reads health data from EEPROM stored on the original battery controller — not from the new cell's actual charge state. When a replacement cell is installed, that EEPROM data is absent or mismatched, so the BIOS flags health as unknown or degraded straight away. This is not a fault with the replacement. One complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the learn cycle. After two or three cycles, the health indicator stabilises to reflect the new cell accurately.

Laptop cutting out at 20–30% charge shown on the G734

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's voltage curve. The gauge still maps the old cell's cliff point — where voltage drops sharply under CPU and display load — onto the new cell, triggering a shutdown well above true empty. It is not a defective battery. Run two full discharge cycles under real load, letting the system reach hibernate each time, then charge fully. By the third cycle the fuel gauge recalibrates and the cutoff point drops to the correct threshold near 10%.

Frequently Asked Questions

The G734 shows the new battery as 0% and won't charge past that — what's happening?

The BIOS hasn't completed a battery learn cycle against the new cell yet, so the fuel gauge IC is reporting stale EEPROM data from the removed battery. Plug in the AC adapter and leave the laptop charging for a full uninterrupted session — do not wake or restart it mid-charge. Once it reaches 100%, discharge under a real workload down to hibernate, then charge again to 100%. After that cycle the gauge re-anchors to the new cell and the 0% reading clears.

System info shows the wrong Wh rating for this battery — it's reporting a different number than 59.2Wh.

The Wh value displayed in Windows or the BIOS is pulled from the battery's EEPROM, which stores the rated capacity written during manufacture — not a live measurement of what the cell is delivering. Small discrepancies between displayed Wh and the actual 59.2Wh spec are normal when EEPROM data from the previous cell's firmware version persists in the system. Run the battery through two full charge-discharge cycles and the OS fuel gauge will recalculate against real measured capacity, bringing the displayed figure closer to the actual rating.

The G734 charge stops at exactly 80% and won't go higher — is the battery faulty?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Many Nexoc G734 firmware versions ship with a battery protection mode that caps charge at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress during AC-tethered use. Check the BIOS power management menu for a setting labelled "battery charge threshold" or "battery health mode" and disable it, or set the upper limit to 100%. Once that setting is cleared, plug in and let the charge run — it will reach 100% without interruption.
