Fits Teclast F5 notebook; replaces OEM part numbers 2666144 and H-30137162.
This cell delivers 7.6V at 3300mAh (25.08Wh) — matches the F5's original output and capacity rating exactly.
Connector seats into the F5 battery slot with the locking tab oriented toward the rear edge; push until you hear the click.
We ran this pack through three full charge cycles on an F5 test unit; the BMS accepted the new cell on first insertion with no fault codes or charge limiting.
After installation, fully discharge the F5 to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Teclast F5 — 7.6V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (2666144)

This 7.6V, 3300mAh (25.08Wh) lithium-polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Teclast F5 notebook. It fits the slim chassis directly, matching the OEM connector and BMS handshake protocol. Part numbers 2666144 and H-30137162 both cross-reference to this cell.

  • Teclast F5 fitment: The F5 uses a flat Li-Polymer pouch cell at 179.00 × 153.16 × 3.00mm — unusually thin for a notebook pack. This replacement matches that footprint exactly, so the back panel closes flush and the connector seats without force.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on F5-compatible hardware. The BMS communicated correctly with the host system, accepted a full charge without tripping overcurrent protection, and reported state-of-charge data to the OS without errors.
  • Post-install calibration on the F5: After fitting, discharge the laptop to hibernate cutoff under normal workload — do not force shutdown. Then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This one cycle lets the F5's fuel gauge IC re-baseline against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health flag the BIOS raises after every cell swap.

Why the Teclast F5 shuts down at 20–30% after a battery swap

The F5's fuel gauge IC builds a voltage-to-capacity map against the original cell. When you install a new cell, that map is stale. Under full CPU and display load, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the old curve predicts. The BIOS interprets that voltage cliff as imminent cell death and triggers an emergency shutdown — even though the cell still has charge remaining. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle forces the IC to relearn the voltage curve and eliminates the premature cutoff.

BIOS showing 0% or "unknown battery" immediately after install

The F5 reads battery identity and rated capacity from EEPROM data embedded in the original pack. A replacement cell ships with its own EEPROM values, which can conflict with the cached data the BIOS holds from the previous battery. The OS then displays 0%, "plugged in, not charging," or an unknown device warning. Power the laptop off completely, remove the charger for 30 seconds, then boot with the charger connected — this forces a fresh EEPROM handshake and the BIOS re-registers the cell at its correct 25.08Wh rating.

Frequently Asked Questions

The F5 shows the correct charge percentage for a few days then the gauge starts jumping around wildly — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the F5 calibrates its capacity model against actual charge and discharge cycles. With a new cell, the IC has no history and its predictions drift badly in the first few uses. Run two or three full discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% each time. After those cycles, the gauge IC locks onto the real capacity curve and the percentage readout stabilises.

Windows is showing 22Wh in battery report but the replacement cell is rated 25.08Wh — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. Windows pulls the Wh figure from the EEPROM data the battery reports at first handshake, and that value can differ from the cell's actual chemistry rating until a calibration cycle updates it. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle, Windows battery report typically corrects the design capacity figure closer to the rated 25.08Wh.

The F5 charges to 80% then stops — charger LED stays green and nothing moves for hours.

Several Teclast BIOS builds ship with a charge-limit flag set to 80% to reduce long-term cell stress. This is a firmware setting, not a fault with the replacement cell. Go into the BIOS (press F2 at boot on the F5), look for a battery charge threshold or charge limit option under the Power tab, and set it to 100%. Save and reboot — charging should resume past 80% on the next charge cycle.
