Fits RTI Pro, Pro24.i, Pro24.r, Pro24.r v2 remote controls; replaces OEM part numbers 41-500012-13, ATB-1100-SANUF, and ATB-1100-SY3450.
3.7V lithium-ion delivers 1200mAh capacity for consistent IR LED output across the full remote range without signal degradation.
Cylindrical cell slides into the vertical battery slot with positive terminal facing outward; verify orientation before closing the battery door.
We bench-tested this cell in a Pro24.r unit; the BMS accepted the charge without fault codes and maintained stable voltage under button-mashing cycles.
If your remote transmits weakly or only works at close range after installation, verify battery polarity by removing and reinserting — reversed orientation blocks IR output entirely.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RTI Pro Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (41-500012-13)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the RTI Pro, Pro24.i, Pro24.r, and Pro24.r v2 wireless home automation remotes. It slots directly into the battery compartment and restores full IR output to the remote. Voltage and physical dimensions match the original cell exactly at 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm.

  • Pro and Pro24 series compatibility: The Pro, Pro24.i, Pro24.r, and Pro24.r v2 all share the same battery bay dimensions and 3.7V single-cell power rail. One SKU covers all four variants — no adapters or modifications needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on RTI Pro hardware. The battery accepted a full charge without interruption and delivered consistent IR trigger voltage across the entire discharge range.
  • Single-cell remote swap tip: This remote runs on one Li-ion cell, so there is no pairing issue — but confirm polarity before closing the compartment. The positive terminal faces toward the contact marked with a plus sign. A backwards install will leave the remote completely unresponsive and is the most common cause of a failed swap.

Why the RTI Pro stops responding mid-session even with a charged battery

Li-ion cells develop internal resistance as they age. When that resistance rises high enough, the cell can no longer sustain the brief current spike the IR LED needs to fire a command. The voltage at rest may still read 3.6V on a meter, but under load it dips below the minimum IR trigger threshold. Replacing the cell restores the current delivery the LED requires rather than just topping up voltage.

RTI Pro commands registering only when held close to the receiver

IR range collapses before battery percentage drops to zero. As the cell discharges below roughly 3.5V, the IR LED pulse weakens and the beam narrows. The remote still functions at close range because the receiver sensor picks up the weaker signal directly. Install a fresh cell and test from normal operating distance — full IR range returns when resting voltage sits at or above 3.7V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My RTI Pro remote does nothing after I installed this battery — not even the indicator light. What did I do wrong?

A backwards cell is almost always the cause. Li-ion cells installed with reversed polarity deliver zero voltage to the circuit, so nothing in the remote powers on. Pop the compartment open, flip the cell so the positive end contacts the terminal marked with a plus sign, and close it again. The remote should respond immediately.

Buttons on my RTI Pro24.r work sometimes but skip commands — is the battery failing?

Intermittent command skipping usually means the cell voltage has dropped below the threshold needed for a consistent IR pulse. The remote fires some commands successfully because short button presses occasionally catch the LED at a momentary voltage peak. Check resting cell voltage — anything below 3.4V means the battery needs replacing, not recharging.

This battery seems to drain faster than I expected on my RTI Pro. What causes that?

A stuck or sticky button creates a constant parasitic draw that pulls the cell down even when the remote sits on the shelf. Press each button individually and check that none stays depressed after release. If all buttons spring back cleanly, the discharge rate is normal for frequent daily use — Li-ion cells in IR remotes last longest when the remote is stored face-up so no button rests against a surface.
