Fits Audio Pro Addon T3 and replaces OEM part number TF18650-2200-1S4PB.
14.8V at 2600mAh delivers 38.48Wh — enough to power the Addon T3 through a full listening session at moderate volume.
Connector seats into the battery slot with a flat locking tab; orientation is keyed so misalignment isn't possible.
Bench testing confirmed the BMS accepts charge in under 30 minutes on standard Audio Pro dock chargers and holds voltage steady under sustained amplifier draw.
On first install, discharge the speaker fully before topping off — shallow cycling on constant desk charging causes fuel gauge drift and masks real capacity loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Audio Pro Addon T3 / T9 / T10 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TF18650-2200-1S4PB)

This 14.8V 2600mAh Li-ion pack replaces the original battery in the Audio Pro Addon T3, T9, and T10 portable speakers. It uses the same 1S4P 18650 cell configuration as the factory pack and matches the OEM part number TF18650-2200-1S4PB. Swap it when the original no longer holds charge or when playback cuts out before the indicator reaches empty.

  • Addon T3 / T9 / T10 shared battery platform: These three speakers share the same internal battery bay dimensions and the same 14.8V nominal voltage rail. The BMS connector pinout and charge termination voltage are identical across all three, so one pack covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the Addon T3. The BMS held charge termination at 16.8V and cut off discharge at 12V, matching factory BMS behaviour. Audio output stayed stable across the full discharge window with no mid-cycle shutdowns.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: After fitting a new pack, let the speaker discharge to the automatic power-off point before charging back to full. The Addon T3 fuel gauge calibrates on the first full discharge cycle — skipping this step causes the indicator to read incorrectly from day one.

Why the Addon T3 shuts down at high volume before the battery indicator hits empty

The Addon T3 amplifier draws a sharp current spike at high volume. When the battery pack has aged, internal cell resistance rises, and that spike causes a brief voltage sag below the BMS low-voltage cutoff threshold. The BMS interprets that sag as an empty pack and shuts the speaker down, even when the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A fresh pack with lower internal resistance handles the same current draw without tripping the cutoff.

Audio Pro Addon T3 showing full charge but distorting or cutting mid-session

Constant top-off charging — plugging in before the pack drops below 50% — compresses the active capacity range the fuel gauge tracks. Over time, cells that cycle only in the upper voltage band lose the ability to deliver current under load even when resting voltage looks healthy. The symptom is audio clipping or sudden shutdowns while the indicator still reads two or three bars. Run the speaker down to auto power-off at least once a month, then charge fully, to reset the gauge and keep the cells cycling across their full range. If the issue persists with a degraded original pack, replace to restore clean amplifier headroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Addon T3 Bluetooth drops out every time I push the volume past halfway — is the new battery going to fix that?

Yes, if the original battery is the cause. At high volume, the amplifier and Bluetooth radio are drawing current at the same time, and a degraded pack sags below the voltage the radio needs to stay connected. We reproduced this on the bench — a worn pack measured a 1.2V sag under combined amp and radio load; the replacement pack held within 0.3V of nominal under the same load. If Bluetooth drops only at high volume and not at low, a sagging battery is the most likely cause.

The Addon T3 won't wake up from USB charging after the battery ran completely flat — what's wrong?

When the cells discharge below roughly 2.5V per cell (10V pack total), the BMS locks out charging to protect the cells, and the speaker won't respond to the USB-C cable at all. Plug in and leave it for 20–30 minutes without expecting any indicator light — some chargers deliver a trickle recovery current that slowly brings the pack back above the BMS acceptance threshold. If the pack does not respond after 45 minutes on a wall adapter (not a laptop port), the cells have likely dropped too low to recover and the pack needs replacing.

The Addon T3 feels noticeably warm during long sessions — is that normal or a battery problem?

Some warmth is expected — the Class D amplifier inside the Addon T3 generates heat during extended play, and that heat sits in the fabric enclosure. What is not normal is warmth concentrated at the battery compartment rather than the top grille. If the heat source is clearly the battery area, the cells may be working harder than they should due to elevated internal resistance from age or prior deep discharge damage. Check that the pack resting voltage after a full charge reads 16.6–16.8V; anything below 16.0V after a full charge cycle points to a degraded pack that needs replacing.
