Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nyne Vibe — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650 2S1P)
This is a 7.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Nyne Vibe Bluetooth speaker. It replaces the original INR18650 2S1P pack and restores wireless operation when the factory cell can no longer hold a usable charge. Voltage and connector match the Vibe's internal charge circuit.
- Nyne Vibe platform fit: The Vibe uses a 2S1P 18650 cell configuration running a 7.4V nominal rail. This pack matches that rail and the charge management IC the Vibe uses to regulate cell balancing across both cells in series.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the Vibe's board. The BMS balanced both cells correctly, held the 7.4V rail under audio load, and tripped the low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold without latching off mid-cycle.
- Monthly discharge cycle for the Vibe: Let the speaker run down below 20% at least once a month before plugging it in. Constant top-off charging — common when the Vibe lives on a desk — causes fuel gauge drift and accelerates capacity fade in the 18650 cells faster than normal use would.
Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty
As the 2S1P pack discharges, the cell voltage sags under the combined draw of the amplifier and Bluetooth radio. On the Vibe, this sag can push the amp's supply rail below the headroom it needs at higher volumes, causing clipping before the pack is actually depleted. The battery indicator reads a remaining charge because it tracks resting voltage, not load voltage. Reducing playback volume by 20–30% when the indicator hits two bars will keep the rail stable and stop the distortion without cutting the session short.
Nyne Vibe won't wake from USB charge after sitting unused for months
If the Vibe sits uncharged for an extended period, both 18650 cells in the 2S pack can drop below the minimum acceptance voltage the charge IC needs to initiate a charge cycle. The speaker appears completely dead — no indicator lights, no response. Connect it to a 5V USB source and leave it undisturbed for 20–40 minutes; most charge ICs include a trickle pre-charge mode that slowly brings deeply discharged cells back above the threshold before switching to normal CC/CV charging. If the indicator still does not light after that window, check that the USB cable is carrying power by testing it on a different device first.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Nyne Vibe plays fine for a while then Bluetooth keeps cutting out at high volume — is the new battery causing this?
It's not a pairing issue — it's a voltage sag issue. At high volume, the amplifier and Bluetooth radio draw current simultaneously, and the combined spike pulls the pack's output voltage down momentarily. If that sag crosses the radio module's minimum operating threshold, it drops the connection. Lower the playback volume until the battery has completed two or three full charge cycles, which allows the cells to reach their rated 2600mAh delivery capacity and reduces the sag under peak draw.
The Nyne Vibe shows a full charge indicator but audio drops out completely after about an hour of use — what's happening?
This is fuel gauge drift, not a faulty battery. When a Li-ion pack is repeatedly charged from 50–60% without ever fully discharging, the charge IC loses calibration between the indicator and actual cell state. The gauge reads full, but the usable capacity the cells can deliver has shifted. Run the Vibe from a full charge all the way down to automatic shutoff once, then charge it fully without interruption — this recalibrates the fuel gauge against the cell's actual charge window.
The Vibe's speaker housing feels noticeably warm during long play sessions — is that safe with the new Li-ion pack?
Warmth during extended play is normal on the Vibe because the amplifier and the discharging battery both generate heat inside a compact, enclosed housing with limited airflow. The Li-ion cells in this 2S1P pack are rated to discharge safely at temperatures well above what normal playback produces. However, avoid leaving the Vibe face-down on fabric or upholstered surfaces during long sessions — that blocks what little passive ventilation the enclosure has and raises internal temperature unnecessarily. If the housing ever becomes too hot to hold comfortably, pause playback for five minutes and let it cool before continuing.
