Fits Lenovo IdeaPad B6000 and Yoga Tablet 8, replaces OEM L13D2E31.
3.75V, 5800mAh delivers the full capacity rating for uninterrupted tablet operation.
Connector slides straight in; locking tab seats flush against the housing slot.
We ran a full discharge cycle; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo IdeaPad B6000 / Yoga Tablet 8 — 3.75V Li-ion Replacement Battery (L13D2E31)

This is a 3.75V, 5800mAh (21.75Wh) Li-ion battery for the Lenovo IdeaPad B6000 and Yoga Tablet 8. It fits the original L13D2E31 slot and restores the tablet to full battery-powered operation. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or fails to power the device on.

  • IdeaPad B6000 and Yoga Tablet 8 fit: Both tablets share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — the L13D2E31 part number covers both. No adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a B6000 unit. The BMS handshake completed correctly, charge termination triggered at the expected cutoff voltage, and the tablet recognised the battery without errors.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage display that often appears after a swap.

Yoga Tablet 8 shutting down at 15–25% remaining

The Yoga Tablet 8 drives the display backlight, WiFi radio, and CPU from the same voltage rail simultaneously. Under that combined load, voltage can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge reads zero. The device shuts down not because the cell is empty, but because voltage dropped too fast for the fuel gauge to track accurately. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% recalibrates the fuel gauge IC and eliminates most of these early shutoffs.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement

The Yoga Tablet 8 uses a proprietary charge negotiation handshake between the charge IC and the battery BMS. On a freshly installed cell, the charge IC may default to standard 5V input until one complete charge cycle has been accepted. If fast charge is unavailable after the swap, charge the tablet fully from flat using the original Lenovo charger. After that first full cycle, the charge IC renegotiates the higher input voltage and fast charge becomes available again.

Frequently Asked Questions

My IdeaPad B6000 shows 80% charge but the screen goes black and it shuts off — why?

The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell and its voltage curve no longer matches the new battery. The tablet is reading the voltage wrong and triggering shutdown before the cell is actually empty. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. That single cycle recalibrates the fuel gauge against the new cell's voltage curve and the percentage will read accurately from that point.

The Yoga Tablet 8 percentage is dropping from 100% much faster than expected — is the new battery faulty?

Almost always this is fuel gauge drift, not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC tracked the old cell's charge curve and the new cell's curve is different enough that the percentage falls quickly from the top of the range. Discharge the tablet fully until it shuts itself off, then charge to 100% in one uninterrupted session. After that calibration cycle, the percentage drop rate will normalise.

The tablet feels warm near the charging port while the new battery charges — should I stop charging it?

Warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new cell is normal. The charge IC adjusts its current delivery as it learns the new cell's impedance profile, and that adjustment process generates some heat. As long as the tablet is not hot to the touch and charging on a hard flat surface with airflow underneath, continue the charge cycle. If the device becomes uncomfortably hot or triggers a charge-paused notification, disconnect and check that the charger output voltage matches 5V or the rated input on the original Lenovo adapter.
