Fits Blaupunkt XTREME cordless vacuums, replaces OEM part 6.60.40.01-0 directly.
14.4V and 6700mAh capacity sustains motor torque across carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a locking tab on the left side — confirm seat until it clicks.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the XTREME platform; BMS engaged protection cutoff at 10.5V with clean recovery on recharge.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous dock charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Blaupunkt XTREME Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (6.60.40.01-0)

This is a 14.4V 6700mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Blaupunkt XTREME cordless vacuum cleaner range. It fits the BPK-VCBB1XTE, BPK-VCBB1XTEIC, and BPK-VCBB1XTEN models using OEM part number 6.60.40.01-0. The pack slots directly into the original battery bay and communicates with the vacuum's power management circuit.

  • XTREME model compatibility: The BPK-VCBB1XTE, BPK-VCBB1XTEIC, and BPK-VCBB1XTEN variants share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single pack covers all three.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through discharge under sustained motor load. The BMS held the 14.4V nominal rail cleanly and triggered low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold without nuisance trips during normal suction cycles.
  • Dock charging habit: Do not leave the XTREME sitting on the charging dock continuously. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the battery or unplug the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The XTREME motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder than its rated load. Under that extra draw, cell voltage sags faster than the indicator tracks, so suction weakens while the LED still shows adequate charge. The BMS reads actual cell voltage, not the indicator's averaged estimate. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction restores immediately, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor sustains a restricted draw — typically from a blocked filter or a jammed brush roll — current spikes past the pack's protection threshold and the BMS disconnects the output. After a brief rest, cell temperature drops and the BMS resets, which is why the vacuum comes back on. Clear the blockage and check the filter before replacing the pack. If the trip repeats on an unobstructed machine, measure pack voltage under load — it should hold above 13.0V during normal motor start.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Blaupunkt XTREME has noticeably less suction but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery dying?

Not necessarily — a partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated, which drags cell voltage down faster than the indicator's averaged reading can track. The result is weak suction while the LED still looks fine. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for obstructions first; if suction recovers immediately, the pack is not the problem.

The vacuum motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds and then comes back on its own — what's happening?

That is the battery's BMS tripping on an overcurrent event, then resetting once the cells cool slightly. It happens when the motor sustains a restricted draw — a clogged filter or a jammed brush roll pushes current past the pack's protection limit and the BMS shuts the output. Clear any blockage and clean the filter, then run the vacuum again. If it still trips on an unobstructed machine, check that pack voltage holds above 13.0V during motor start.

The replacement battery charged fully but the XTREME seems to lose charge much faster than expected — did it come with reduced capacity?

If the vacuum spent time on continuous dock charge, the original pack likely developed capacity fade before it was replaced — and the contrast with a fresh 6700mAh cell can be misleading in the other direction. However, a partially blocked filter also forces the motor to draw above rated current, which drains any pack faster than the spec suggests. Clean the filter, verify there are no brush-roll obstructions, and avoid leaving the charged pack on the dock permanently. Charge only when depleted, then remove from the dock.
