Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cecotec Conga Eternal Vital Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CMICR18650-F8M7-4S1P)
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh (37.44Wh) Li-ion battery pack for the Cecotec 05846 and Conga Eternal Vital range of cordless stick vacuums. It fits the Conga Eternal Laser Vital, Max Vital, and Pet Vital models. The 4-cell configuration matches the original pack geometry and connector orientation.
- Conga Eternal Vital platform fit: The Laser Vital, Max Vital, and Pet Vital all run the same 14.4V power rail with an identical 4S1P cell arrangement and shared BMS connector. One pack covers the full Vital lineup without adapter or modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and recharge sequences on a Conga Eternal unit, confirmed BMS handshake with the onboard charger circuit, and verified cutoff voltage behaviour under sustained motor load.
- Dock charging habit on Conga Eternal models: The Conga Eternal charging dock does not interrupt current when the pack reaches full charge. Leave the vacuum on the dock only until the charge indicator shows full, then remove it. Continuous dock storage accelerates capacity fade in lithium cells at this voltage class.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Conga Eternal
This happens because the motor draws more current than rated when the filter is partially blocked, which pulls cell voltage down early. The BMS reads that voltage sag as a low-charge condition and reduces output before the fuel gauge catches up. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds through a full charge cycle, the filter was the cause. If voltage sag continues with a clean filter, the cells are no longer holding charge above the BMS threshold under load.
Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or dense carpet contact — the motor stalls slightly and current spikes above the BMS protection limit. The BMS disconnects the pack, the motor stops, and then resets within seconds once current normalises. Clear the blockage and check the filter before assuming the pack is faulty. If trips continue on a clean, unobstructed vacuum, measure resting voltage — a healthy pack at partial charge should read above 13.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Conga Eternal vacuum loses suction well before the battery light shows it's low — is that normal with a new pack?
It usually points to a blocked filter rather than a battery fault. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls cell voltage down faster than the indicator can track. Fit the new pack, clean or replace the filter completely, and run a full discharge cycle. If suction holds through most of the charge, the filter was the cause — not the cells.
The vacuum motor cuts out for a few seconds and then starts again on its own — what's happening?
That's the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, which typically happens when the nozzle or filter is partially blocked and the motor load jumps sharply. The pack disconnects to protect the cells, then resets once current drops back to normal. Clear any blockage, check the filter, and test again on a hard floor before moving to carpet. If the cutout still happens on an unobstructed surface, check resting pack voltage — it should sit above 13.0V between uses.
This replacement battery isn't charging on the Conga Eternal dock — the charger just doesn't respond.
The Conga Eternal charger circuit checks for a BMS handshake signal before it begins charging. If the replacement pack's BMS isn't responding — often because the cells shipped at deep storage voltage — the charger won't initiate. Connect the pack to the dock and leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes; some BMS boards need a brief trickle before they signal ready. If the charger still shows no activity after 30 minutes, measure the pack terminals directly — a reading below 10.0V means the cells have dropped below the BMS recovery threshold.
