Fits Ecovacs Deebot CR120 and replaces OEM part number LP43SC2000P.
14.4V and 2000mAh capacity delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag during sustained suction.
Connector slides straight into the battery compartment with a single locking tab — no rotation needed on insertion.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack on a CR120 test unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and held voltage steady under full motor load.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH packs fade fast under trickle charge and lose capacity within weeks if left docked after reaching full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs Deebot CR120 / X500 / KK-8 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (LP43SC2000P)

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Ecovacs Deebot CR120 robotic vacuum. It also fits the X500, KK-8, and Deebot KK-8 variants that share the same battery bay and voltage rail. Capacity is 2000mAh (28.8Wh), matching the original specification.

  • CR120, X500, and KK-8 platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol. The LP43SC2000P slots into all of them without modification — same cell count, same terminal orientation, same charge handshake.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a CR120 unit. The BMS accepted the battery without fault codes, and the robot completed full cleaning cycles without mid-run shutdowns or low-voltage cutoff errors.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Ni-MH cells in always-docked robots degrade faster than those cycled properly. After each full charge, run the Deebot until it returns to the dock on its own — don't leave it sitting charged and idle on the dock for days between uses.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the CR120

The CR120 uses motor draw as the primary load on this battery. When the Ni-MH cells age, internal resistance rises — voltage sags under motor load even when the charge indicator still reads mid-range. The robot interprets this as a normal operating state and keeps running, but the motor isn't getting full voltage. Result: suction weakens noticeably while the indicator shows capacity remaining. A fresh LP43SC2000P cell with low internal resistance restores stable voltage under motor load and eliminates the sag.

Deebot CR120 cuts out mid-run and then recovers after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws harder to maintain suction — sustained high current triggers the BMS protection circuit, which cuts power to prevent cell damage. After a short pause, the BMS resets and the robot powers back on. Before replacing the battery, remove and tap out the filter. If the cutouts stop, the filter was the cause. If they continue with a clean filter, the aging cells can no longer handle the motor's start-up current draw — replace the battery and verify stable voltage above 12V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Ecovacs Deebot CR120 used to clean the whole floor in one go — now it quits early even with a charged battery. What's happening?

Ni-MH cells develop higher internal resistance as they age, causing voltage to sag under motor load before the charge is actually depleted. The robot's BMS interprets the voltage drop as an empty battery and shuts down early. This is cell degradation, not a charger or dock fault. Replace the LP43SC2000P battery and check that the filter is clean — a blocked filter increases motor draw and accelerates the symptom.

The CR120 keeps returning to the dock, sitting there for hours, then going out to clean again — is that damaging the battery?

Yes. Ni-MH cells on continuous trickle charge from the dock lose capacity significantly faster than cells that are cycled properly. The dock doesn't fully disconnect once the battery is full — it continues applying a maintenance charge. Run the robot through full cleaning cycles and avoid leaving it parked on the dock for extended periods between uses. Charge when depleted, remove from dock when full where the app or scheduler allows.

I installed a new LP43SC2000P and the CR120 starts a cleaning run but the motor cuts out under thick carpet, then recovers — what's causing this?

Thick carpet increases motor resistance, causing the motor to draw a current spike at start-up and during sustained operation on dense pile. If the BMS on the new battery detects a sustained overcurrent, it trips the protection circuit and cuts power. First, confirm the filter is completely clear — a restricted filter compounds the draw. If the issue persists with a clean filter, check that the battery terminals are fully seated; a loose contact creates resistance that pushes the current reading past the BMS threshold. Reseat the battery firmly and run a test cycle on hard floor first to confirm normal operation before returning to carpet.
