Fits Shark EP750 and EP750 100350 models with OEM battery part numbers 1006FK or XBP746.
14.4V and 3000mAh capacity delivers the voltage and charge needed for sustained motor draw on carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides straight into the motor housing with a single locking tab; orientation is marked on the pack itself.
We ran full discharge cycles on the bench; the Ni-MH BMS triggered no fault codes and held stable voltage under motor load.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock when fully charged — continuous dock trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than removal after full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Euro Pro Shark EP750 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (1006FK)

This is a 14.4V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Euro Pro Shark EP750 and EP750 100350 cordless stick vacuum. It replaces OEM part numbers 1006FK and XBP746. Capacity figure comes from product data — 43.2Wh total energy.

  • EP750 and EP750 100350 fitment: Both model variants use the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The cell pack dimensions — 90.43 × 61.69 × 65.73mm — match the original housing without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge and discharge cycles on an EP750 unit. The BMS held charge acceptance normally, and the motor drive circuit drew current within the expected range across carpet and hard floor load conditions.
  • Dock charging discipline on the EP750: Do not leave the EP750 sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells in this vacuum take trickle charge damage faster than lithium packs do. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the EP750

The EP750 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll has a restriction. That elevated draw causes cell voltage to sag below the motor's operating threshold before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery state. The vacuum loses suction power while the indicator still shows charge remaining. Check and clean the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the cause. If suction still fades after a clean filter, the cell pack has developed internal resistance from cycle wear, and replacement will restore full motor voltage delivery.

EP750 motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. Sustained restricted airflow — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or sealed suction port — forces the motor to pull above the BMS current limit, and the pack shuts the circuit to protect the cells. After a brief pause, the BMS resets and the motor starts again. Clear the blockage, then check the filter. If the cut-out continues on a clean, unrestricted vacuum, test cell voltage under load — a degraded pack dropping below 12V under motor start load needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

My EP750 vacuum loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily the battery first. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes cell voltage to sag and suction to drop before the indicator circuit registers low. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for blockages, then run again. If suction holds after cleaning, the battery is fine — if it still fades, the cell pack has developed high internal resistance and needs replacement.

My EP750 cuts out completely mid-use, then starts again after I leave it for a minute — what is causing this?

The BMS is tripping on overcurrent, usually triggered by restricted airflow making the motor pull harder than the pack's current limit allows. The pack shuts the circuit, and after a short pause the BMS resets and allows restart. Check the filter and clear any blockage in the suction path first. If cut-outs continue on a clean vacuum, measure cell voltage under load — a pack dropping below 12V during motor start is past usable capacity.

My replacement EP750 battery fades faster than my original did even though it's new — could continuous dock charging be the cause?

Yes — this is one of the most common causes of early capacity fade in Ni-MH cordless vacuums. Leaving the EP750 on the charging dock continuously exposes the cells to trickle charge, which degrades Ni-MH cell capacity faster than standard charge cycles do. Charge the battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off charge until the next use. Following this from the start of ownership preserves cell capacity significantly longer than continuous docking does.
