Fits Shark EP750 and EP750 100350 models replacing OEM part numbers 1006FK and XBP746.
14.4V, 3000mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers sustained motor voltage under carpet load and debris pickup cycles.
Connector seats vertically into the EP750 battery slot with a spring-loaded locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell in the EP750 dock; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault cycles.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH cells on permanent trickle charge fade capacity rapidly within weeks.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Shark EP750 / EP750 100350 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (1006FK / XBP746)

This is a 14.4V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Shark EP750 and EP750 100350 cordless upright vacuum. It slots into the same bay as the original pack and powers the vacuum motor for floor and carpet cleaning. Capacity figure is 3000mAh (43.2Wh), taken from the product specification — not extrapolated from runtime claims.

  • EP750 and EP750 100350 compatibility: Both variants run the same 14.4V motor rail with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake. One battery pack covers both units — no modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the EP750 platform. The BMS held the voltage rail steady under simulated carpet-load draw and tripped at the correct low-voltage cutoff without nuisance shutdowns.
  • Dock charging practice for Ni-MH cells: Do not leave the EP750 sitting on the charging dock after the pack reaches full charge. Ni-MH chemistry is particularly sensitive to continuous trickle current — capacity fade accelerates significantly faster than with intermittent charging. Charge to full, then remove from dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells show a characteristic mid-discharge voltage sag when the motor is under sustained load — most noticeable on thick carpet. The EP750 motor draws higher current through restricted airflow, which pulls cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit expects. The result is noticeably weaker suction while the indicator still reads mid-range. Clean or replace the foam and felt filters first — restored airflow reduces peak draw and the voltage sag flattens out.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the EP750 filter is partially blocked, the motor works against restricted airflow and draws current above the BMS threshold. The pack shuts output to protect the cells, then resets once temperature and current stabilise — usually within 30 to 60 seconds. Clearing the filter blockage is the fix. If cutouts continue on a clean filter, check that cell voltage at rest is at or above 14.4V before ruling out a worn pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Shark EP750 suction feels weak but the battery light still shows plenty of charge — is the battery faulty?

Probably not the battery itself. Ni-MH cells sag in voltage under sustained motor load, especially on carpet, which drops suction before the indicator registers low. The most common cause is a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to draw harder than rated. Clean the foam and felt filters first — if suction recovers, the battery is fine. If the pack rests below 14.4V off the charger, then the cells have worn.

My EP750 cuts out after a few minutes of use and then starts working again if I leave it for a bit — what's happening?

The BMS is tripping on overcurrent, not failing randomly. A restricted filter causes the motor to pull more current than the BMS threshold allows, so it shuts output to protect the cells and resets once the load drops. Clear any blockage from the filter, brush roll, and hose before assuming the battery is at fault. If cutouts continue on a clean, unblocked machine, check resting cell voltage — it should hold at or above 14.4V after a full charge.

This replacement battery fades faster than expected — could the dock charging be causing it?

Yes — this is the most common cause of early capacity fade on Ni-MH packs. Leaving the EP750 on the dock after a full charge continues to push trickle current through the cells, and Ni-MH chemistry degrades faster under continuous charge than with intermittent cycling. Charge the pack fully, then lift it off the dock. Store the vacuum off charge and only return it to the dock when the battery is depleted.
