Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Moneual P10 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery rated at 2600mAh (37.44Wh), built as a direct replacement for the Moneual P10 robotic vacuum cleaner. It slots into the P10's battery bay and powers the drive motors, suction motor, and navigation electronics. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.
- P10 platform fit: The P10 runs a 14.4V power rail across its suction and drive systems from a single battery pack. This cell matches that rail. The BMS on the P10 monitors cell voltage during discharge and will cut power if the pack voltage drops below threshold — a cell that cannot hold 14.4V under load will trigger that cutoff early.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge runs on a P10 unit. The BMS handshake completed without fault codes, and the pack held voltage through both suction and drive load simultaneously. No mid-cycle cutoffs were recorded.
- Dock charging behaviour on the P10: Remove the P10 from its charging dock once the battery reaches full charge. The P10 dock does not switch to a true standby mode — it continues pushing a trickle current into the pack. Li-ion cells sitting under continuous low-level charge lose capacity faster than cells that are charged fully and then left off the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the P10
This is a voltage sag problem, not a capacity problem. When the suction motor hits a restriction — a blocked filter, packed dustbin, or dense carpet — it draws more current than rated. A battery with degraded cells cannot hold 14.4V under that spike. Voltage sags, the suction motor loses power, and the indicator reads mid-charge because the pack still has capacity in reserve. Cleaning or replacing the filter is the first step. If sag persists on a clear filter with a fresh battery, check that resting voltage after a full charge reads at least 16.2V before the first run.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip. The P10's battery management system shuts down output when current draw exceeds a set threshold, then resets once the pack temperature or load drops. It usually happens when the suction path is partially blocked — the motor fights harder, pulls more amps, and trips the BMS. The recovery pause is the BMS resetting, not a loose connection. Clear the filter and brush roll first. If trips continue on a clean machine with a new battery, the suction motor itself may be drawing above spec.

Frequently Asked Questions
My P10 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
The indicator reads stored capacity, not voltage under load. When the suction motor hits a restriction, it pulls more current than the pack can deliver cleanly — voltage sags and suction drops even though charge remains. Clean or replace the filter first, then empty the dustbin. If suction is still weak on a clear filter with a fresh battery, check that the brush roll is free of hair wrap adding drag to the motor.
The P10 motor cuts out for a few seconds then kicks back in during cleaning — is this a battery fault?
That pause-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a wiring fault. The battery's protection circuit shuts output when sustained current draw spikes past threshold — typically from a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to work harder — then resets once load drops. Clear the filter and brush roll completely. If trips continue on a clean machine with a new battery, the suction motor may be drawing above its rated current and needs inspection.
The P10 barely holds charge after I left it on the dock for a few months — can the battery recover?
Continuous dock charging pushes trickle current into Li-ion cells even when full, which degrades capacity over time. A battery that has been on the dock for months may have lost a significant portion of usable capacity permanently. Run one full charge and discharge cycle to check remaining capacity — if runtime is still noticeably short after a full charge on a clean filter, the original pack needs replacing. With the new battery, charge to full and remove the P10 from the dock rather than leaving it docked continuously.
