Fits Sichler Reinigungs-Roboter PCR-1350 L and PCR-2350 LX robotic vacuum cleaners as OEM replacement battery.
14.4V and 4000mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers steady voltage output throughout cleaning cycles on hard floors and carpet.
Connector slides into the dock contact slot with a mechanical locking tab; orientation is single-direction.
We bench-tested the cell on the Sichler charging dock at full ambient load — BMS accepted handshake and held 14.4V through discharge without early cutoff.
Remove the vacuum from the charging dock immediately after reaching full charge; Ni-MH cells left on continuous trickle charge degrade capacity within weeks.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sichler Reinigungs-Roboter PCR-1350 L / PCR-2350 LX — 14.4V Ni-MH 4000mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Ni-MH battery rated at 4000mAh (57.6Wh) for the Sichler Reinigungs-Roboter robotic vacuum cleaner range. It fits the PCR-1350 L, PCR-2350 LX, NC-3337, and NC-3338 models. Physical dimensions are 179 x 51 x 52mm — verify clearance before fitting.

  • PCR-1350 L / PCR-2350 LX / NC-3337 / NC-3338 platform: These models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake, so one cell format covers the full group. Voltage tolerance across the range sits within the same window — no firmware or wiring changes required between models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the cell through a full charge and discharge cycle, monitoring BMS cutoff at both ends. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage floor and released cleanly on reconnect to the charger — no fault lock requiring manual reset.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells in continuous trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next cleaning cycle.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells show a relatively flat discharge curve, so the onboard indicator often stays green while motor voltage is already sagging under load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above rated current, which accelerates that voltage sag further. The result is noticeably weaker suction while the indicator still reads mid-range. Clean the filter and check brush roll clearance — if suction recovers immediately after a filter clean, the battery was not the root cause.

Replacement battery not charging on the dock after fitting

Some Sichler charger units send a low-current pulse first to confirm cell chemistry before committing to a full charge cycle. A new Ni-MH cell at low resting voltage can be read as a fault by the charger's detection circuit, causing it to stop before charging begins. Remove the battery, hold the robot's power button for five seconds to clear any latched state, then reseat the battery and return the unit to the dock. If the charger indicator then changes to its charging state, the handshake has completed and charging is underway — confirm by checking the cell is warm to the touch after 20 minutes, which indicates active current flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

The PCR-1350 L cuts out mid-cycle and then restarts a few seconds later — is that the battery failing or something else?

That cut-and-recover pattern points to a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. When the brush roll or suction path is restricted, the motor draws more current than the BMS allows, and it shuts output off to protect the cell — then resets once current drops. Check the filter and brush roll for blockage first. If the unit runs without interruption after clearing the restriction, the battery is functioning correctly.

Suction feels weak from the start of a cleaning cycle even with a fully charged new battery — what causes that?

A new Ni-MH cell at full charge delivers peak voltage, so weak suction from the first minute is rarely a battery issue. The most common cause is a filter that is partially blocked — restricted airflow makes the motor work harder for less output. Remove and clean the filter, check the brush roll for hair wrap, then run a cycle again. If suction is noticeably stronger, the airflow path was the bottleneck, not the cell.

The robot ran noticeably shorter cleaning cycles before, and now even a fresh charge barely covers one room — why does that happen so fast?

Ni-MH cells in robotic vacuums left on the charging dock between every cycle receive a continuous low-level trickle charge. Over weeks, that trickle heat degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling would. The replacement cell will hold its rated 4000mAh only if you remove it from the dock once it reaches full charge. Charge to full, disconnect from dock, and only return the unit to dock when the battery is depleted — that single habit significantly slows capacity fade.
