Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Tineco iFloor 2.0 Slim / IFLOOR S5 FW150100EU — 22.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CL2020-6S1P-01B)
This 22.2V 2500mAh (55.5Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces part number CL2020-6S1P-01B in the Tineco iFloor 2.0 Slim and IFLOOR S5 FW150100EU wet-dry cordless vacuums. It powers the motorised cleaning head, suction motor, and onboard electronics. If your original battery no longer holds charge or cuts out mid-clean, this is the direct swap.
- iFloor 2.0 Slim and IFLOOR S5 FW150100EU compatibility: Both models share the same 22.2V six-cell architecture and use the CL2020-6S1P-01B cell pack. The connector pinout and BMS communication protocol are identical across this platform, so one battery fits both without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the iFloor 2.0 Slim motor assembly. The BMS responded correctly to overcurrent events, balanced cells after each charge cycle, and passed voltage at the connector within the expected 22.2V nominal range throughout testing.
- Dock charging discipline for this vacuum: Do not leave the iFloor on the charging dock continuously between uses. Unlike some cordless tools, this vacuum's charger does not switch to a true maintenance mode — prolonged dock contact applies a low-level trickle that accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the suction motor has to work harder than rated — usually because a filter is partially blocked or the dirty-water tank needs emptying. Under restricted airflow, the motor draws excess current, and the BMS throttles power to protect the cells before the indicator registers low battery. The vacuum feels like it's losing charge when it's actually hitting a current ceiling. Clear the filter and tank first — if suction restores immediately, the battery is not the cause.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. It typically happens when sustained restricted suction — from a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — forces the motor to pull more current than the BMS allows. The BMS cuts the output, the cells recover to a safe voltage within seconds, and the vacuum restarts. If this happens repeatedly in one session, turn off the vacuum, check and rinse the filter, and confirm the nozzle path is clear before resuming. A fully charged pack should read above 25V at the connector; if it reads below 22V at rest, the cells have degraded and the pack needs replacing.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Tineco iFloor 2.0 Slim loses suction well before the battery light shows low — is this a battery problem?
Usually not. When the filter is partially blocked, the suction motor pulls more current than the BMS allows and throttles power before the indicator drops. Clean and rinse the filter, clear the nozzle path, and empty the dirty-water tank. If suction recovers immediately after clearing the filter, the battery is not at fault — if it remains weak with a clean filter, the cells have likely degraded and the pack should be replaced.
The motor on my iFloor 2.0 Slim keeps cutting out for a few seconds and then coming back on — what's causing that?
That's a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — forces the motor to draw above the pack's rated current limit, so the BMS cuts output momentarily to protect the cells. Turn off the vacuum, clear the filter and nozzle, then restart. If trips stop after clearing the blockage, the battery is working correctly; if they continue on a clean machine, check the resting voltage at the connector — a healthy pack reads above 22V at rest.
My new replacement battery charges fine but the vacuum runs for noticeably less time than before — why?
A partially blocked filter makes the motor draw significantly more current than its rated load, burning through the pack faster than the rated capacity suggests. This gets worse as filter mesh clogs with fine debris that rinsing doesn't remove. Check whether the filter has been replaced recently — Tineco recommends replacing the HEPA filter every few months depending on use frequency. With a fresh filter and a fully charged pack reading at or above 25V, runtime should return to the expected level.
