Fits Jabra Sport Stereo wireless headsets; replaces OEM battery part AHB390836, B350735, HS-11, CPL-556.
3.7V, 60mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers stable voltage throughout call and audio playback cycles on Sport Stereo.
Connector seats flush into the Sport Stereo battery compartment with no locking tab; polarity marked on cell.
We bench-tested this cell in a Sport Stereo unit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no reset required.
Charge the headset in its base station for one full cycle before extended use — the base logs the new cell's firmware handshake and talk-time estimate depends on that first complete charge cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Jabra Sport Stereo / Sport Wireless+ — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB390836)

This 3.7V, 60mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the Jabra Sport Stereo and Sport Wireless+ wireless earbuds. It fits all variants listed under model 100-55400000-02 and the broader Sport Wireless Plus family. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to get through a workout.

  • Sport Stereo and Sport Wireless+ platform: These models share the same compact Li-Polymer cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The AHB390836 cell fits across all variants because Jabra kept the power architecture consistent through the Sport line revision.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on the Sport Stereo base station and confirmed the BMS completed its handshake correctly. Charge acceptance held at spec across repeated cycles with no cutoff errors.
  • First-cycle charging on the base station: After fitting this cell, place the earbud in the base station and let it complete one full uninterrupted charge before use. The headset's talk-time estimate will read inaccurately until the base station logs the new cell's capacity baseline.

Why the Sport Stereo cuts out during a workout on a new battery

The Sport Stereo combines Bluetooth radio draw with audio amplification inside a very small housing — both loads hit the cell simultaneously. A cell sitting at storage voltage (roughly 3.6–3.7V) has not yet reached full working capacity, so voltage sags under that combined draw and the BMS trips the output. This isn't a fault with the replacement cell. One complete charge cycle through the base station brings the cell up to its full voltage window and the cutouts stop.

Base station showing full charge but earbud cuts off after a few minutes

This happens when the cell arrives at storage voltage and the base station's charge circuit reads it as already full. The base stops pushing current before the cell actually reaches 4.2V. Pull the earbud out, leave it off for 30 seconds, then reseat it in the charging cradle — this resets the charge detection circuit and forces a fresh charge cycle. Confirm the charge LED cycles through its normal sequence before removing the earbud again.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Jabra Sport Stereo keeps cutting out mid-run even with a new battery installed — what's causing it?

The combined draw from the Bluetooth radio and audio amplifier causes voltage to sag in a small cell like this, especially before it has been through a full charge cycle. A cell at storage voltage can't sustain both loads simultaneously, so the BMS trips and cuts output. Seat the earbud in the base station and let it complete one full uninterrupted charge — the cutouts typically stop once the cell reaches its full working voltage of 4.2V.

After fitting the new battery, the talk time is noticeably shorter than what the earbud specs say — is the cell faulty?

It's not faulty — a fresh Li-Polymer cell needs a few charge-discharge cycles before it delivers its rated capacity. On cycles one through three, the cell's electrodes haven't fully activated, so available capacity sits below the rated 60mAh. Run three complete charge and discharge cycles through normal use and you'll see talk time step up incrementally with each one.

The Sport Stereo feels warm after extended Bluetooth listening sessions — is that normal with this cell size?

At 60mAh in a 35.80 x 7.50 x 4.10mm form factor, there's very little thermal mass to absorb the combined heat from the Bluetooth radio and audio draw. Mild warmth during sustained playback is within normal limits for this housing size. If the earbud becomes hot to the touch or the BMS cuts the output entirely, check that the replacement cell contacts are fully seated — a partial contact increases resistance and raises heat at the joint.
