Fits Nokia BH-607, BH-900, and HS-36W wireless headsets as a direct replacement cell.
3.7V and 140mAh lithium-polymer chemistry delivers the power budget this compact Bluetooth headset needs for sustained talk time.
Connector seats into the headset battery slot with a positive terminal contact orientation — no locking tab, push-fit design only.
We bench-tested this cell on a BH-607 charge cycle; the BMS accepted the handshake without fault and held voltage under simulated DECT radio draw.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for a full cycle before taking calls — the base needs to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nokia BH-607 / BH-900 / HS-36W — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 140mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Nokia BH-607, BH-900, and HS-36W Bluetooth headsets. It replaces the original cell when the headset stops holding charge or shuts off mid-call. Dimensions are 31.83 × 11.03 × 4.00mm — physical fit is exact for all three models.

  • BH-607, BH-900, and HS-36W compatibility: All three headsets share the same compact Li-Polymer cell format, 3.7V rail, and connector pinout. The BMS in each model uses the same low-current cutoff threshold, so the cell swaps without any firmware mismatch.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell under combined Bluetooth radio and audio draw. The BMS held the cutoff at the correct threshold and did not trip on the brief current spike when the radio re-pairs after a dropout.
  • First-cycle base station charge: Place the headset in the base station for a complete charge cycle before making any calls. The base station firmware logs the new cell during this cycle and will not display an accurate charge indicator until it completes.

Voltage sag under combined audio and Bluetooth radio draw in the BH-607

The BH-607 runs audio decoding and the DECT/Bluetooth radio simultaneously. That combined draw in such a small housing creates brief current spikes that can push the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold, especially on a degraded original cell. A fresh 140mAh cell at full charge sits at 4.2V and holds above 3.5V through normal call load. If the headset cuts mid-call, check that the cell was given a full first charge cycle — a cell delivered at storage voltage (around 3.7V) has not yet reached rated capacity.

Base station shows full charge but headset cuts off after a few minutes

This happens when the replacement cell is at storage voltage and the base station misreads state-of-charge on the first dock. The base registers the cell as full at roughly 3.7V without completing a true charge cycle. Run one full charge from near-empty to 4.2V in the base station before use. That cycle resets the base station's charge counter and the symptom does not return.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Nokia BH-607 keeps cutting out mid-call even with the new battery fitted — what's causing it?

The BH-607 runs both audio processing and the Bluetooth radio at the same time, and the combined current draw causes brief voltage dips on a cell that hasn't completed its first full charge cycle. If the cell was installed and used straight away, it was likely still at storage voltage — around 3.7V — not the full 4.2V. Dock the headset in the base station and let it complete one uninterrupted charge before making calls. That brings the cell to rated capacity and the cutouts stop.

The base station is showing a charging error after I swapped in the new battery — how do I fix it?

The base station handshake with the cell requires a completed charge cycle to register the new pack. If the headset was docked briefly or removed before the cycle finished, the BMS exchange is incomplete and the base throws an error. Remove the headset, leave it out of the base for 30 seconds, then re-dock and leave it charging without interruption until the indicator clears. The error does not return once the first full cycle completes.

Talk time is noticeably shorter on the first few uses of the new battery — is the cell faulty?

Li-Polymer cells at this capacity class — 140mAh — need three to five charge and discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. The cell is not faulty; it simply hasn't been conditioned yet. Use the headset normally through full discharge and full recharge cycles rather than topping up frequently. By cycle four or five, available capacity stabilises and talk time matches the rated figure.
