Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Liquid Gallant Duo E350 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AE415550 1S1P)
This 3.7V Li-ion cell at 1350mAh (5Wh) replaces the original battery in the Acer Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo E350 smartphones. It fits the AK330 and E350 variants using OEM part numbers AE415550 1S1P, JD-201202-JLNP-C8-001, and KT.0010J.001. The cell measures 56.65 × 53.97 × 4.28mm and seats directly into the original battery bay.
- Liquid Gallant and E350 platform fit: The Gallant and Gallant Duo E350 share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture and connector pinout across the AK330 and E350 variants. The BMS handshake runs on a standard one-wire NTC thermistor line — no proprietary authentication chip to negotiate.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the E350 platform. The BMS held charge termination at 4.2V and cut off discharge cleanly at 3.0V under simulated screen and modem load — no unexpected trips.
- First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. The fuel gauge IC in the E350 calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve on that first full cycle — skipping it causes percentage jumps for the first several days of use.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Liquid Gallant after a cell swap
The E350's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old degraded cell. When the replacement cell hits the voltage cliff around 3.5V under modem or display load, the phone shuts off even though the reported percentage still reads 20–30%. The IC hasn't mapped the new cell's actual capacity yet, so its voltage-to-percentage conversion is wrong. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the early shutdown.
Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges
A new Li-ion cell arrives with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC on the E350 pushes its standard charge current into that higher impedance, which generates more heat than usual at the cell surface. This is normal for the first two to three cycles and reduces as the cell's impedance settles. If warmth continues past the third full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partial connection increases contact resistance and sustains the heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Acer Liquid Gallant Duo E350 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
A Li-ion cell stored at low charge can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage — the phone won't power on because the protection circuit has opened. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Most E350 BMS circuits recover once the charger trickle-feeds the cell back above 2.8V, at which point the phone will show a low-battery screen and begin normal charging.
The battery percentage on my Gallant jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, drops to 40% in minutes, then jumps back up.
The fuel gauge IC in the E350 is still running the discharge curve it mapped for the old cell — the coulomb counter doesn't automatically reset when a new cell is installed. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutdown with fast charging disabled, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single calibration cycle, the IC remaps its voltage-to-percentage table against the new cell and the jumping stops.
Fast charging stopped working on my Liquid Gallant after I put in the replacement battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the E350 sometimes defaults to a lower pre-charge current until the BMS confirms the new cell is within safe temperature and voltage thresholds. Let the phone complete one full charge from near-empty to 100% on a standard charger. Once the BMS has logged a clean full cycle, fast charge re-enables at the normal rate — verify by checking that the charger output is at least 5V/1A and the charging screen shows the lightning bolt indicator.
