Fits Amazfit A1918, A1808, T-Rex Verge Lite smartwatches; replaces OEM part PL512524G.
3.85V, 350mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full power to fitness tracking, heart rate, and GPS functions.
Connector seats flat into the watch housing with no locking tab; alignment matters on magnetic charger contacts.
We bench-tested this cell in an A1918 unit; BMS accepted the new pack without fault codes on insertion.
After fitting, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full cycle from near-zero after a swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazfit T-Rex / Verge Lite / A1918 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL512524G)

This is a 3.85V, 350mAh Li-Polymer cell that replaces part number PL512524G in the Amazfit A1918, A1808, T-Rex, Verge Lite, and A1801 smartwatches. It fits when the original cell no longer holds charge after extended use or repeated shallow cycling. Dimensions are 24.00 × 24.20 × 5.30mm — measure your existing cell before ordering if you have an unknown revision.

  • A1918, A1808, T-Rex, Verge Lite, A1801 compatibility: These five models share the same battery footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake voltage — all run the same PL512524G cell on a 3.85V nominal rail with matching protection thresholds.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the A1918 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, protection cutoff triggered correctly at low voltage, and the fuel gauge IC registered charge state accurately after a full calibration cycle.
  • Post-swap charging requirement: Place the watch on its charger immediately after fitting this cell and charge to 100% before using the watch. The fuel gauge IC on this platform loses its reference point when the cell is swapped and cannot read charge state accurately without a full charge cycle from near-zero.

Why the Verge Lite and T-Rex drain this cell faster in the first week

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different internal impedance than a degraded original. The heart rate and SpO2 sensors on these models adjust their drive current based on signal return, and a fresh cell with lower impedance can cause the sensor subsystem to pull more current than usual during the first several charge cycles. This normalises once the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and the sensors settle on the new cell's impedance profile. No action is needed — full capacity and normal draw stabilise within five to seven days of regular use.

Watch shows 0% and will not wake after battery swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has lost its charge reference — a direct result of removing power during the swap. The IC does not fabricate a reading; it defaults to 0% when it has no valid state-of-charge data. Connecting the watch to its magnetic charger resets the IC and initiates a calibration cycle from the known near-zero starting point. Leave it on charge until it reads 100% — at that point the IC has a valid reference and normal battery indication resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amazfit T-Rex or Verge Lite is not pairing with my phone after I replaced the battery — did I break something?

No — removing the cell during the swap ends the active BLE session and clears the watch-side connection state. The phone still holds the old pairing record, which now conflicts with the watch trying to re-advertise. On your phone, go into Bluetooth settings, forget the watch entirely, then re-pair it through the Zepp or Amazfit app from scratch. The new cell has no effect on BLE hardware — this is a session reset, not a hardware fault.

The magnetic charger does not seem to be charging the watch after I put the new battery in — the charging indicator never appears.

The most common cause is contact misalignment introduced during reassembly — the magnetic charger relies on precise pin-to-pad registration, and even a small shift in the rear cover seating can break the circuit. Remove the charger, inspect the two gold contacts on the watch back for any debris or displacement, then re-seat the rear cover firmly before reattaching the charger. If the indicator still does not appear, check the charger on a known-working device to rule out a cable fault before disassembling again.

The new battery is draining in under a day — my old one used to last several days even when degraded.

Always-on display combined with continuous heart rate monitoring is the most frequent cause of single-day drain on this platform — check your Amazfit app settings and confirm always-on display and continuous HR tracking are not both active simultaneously. A newly installed cell also runs through slightly higher-draw behaviour in its first week while the fuel gauge IC calibrates and the sensor subsystem adjusts to the new cell's impedance. If drain remains abnormal after five days of normal use with those settings reviewed, check the charge contacts for intermittent connection causing incomplete charge cycles.
