Fits Amazfit A1929 and Stratos 3 smartwatches replacing OEM part number PL322728H.
3.85V and 270mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge cycles for time display, fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and notifications.
Connector is a two-pin magnetic pogo contact pad; orient positive contact toward the charging dock alignment post before seating.
We ran the cell through five full charge cycles on the Amazfit dock; the fuel gauge IC initialized correctly and held calibration across discharge.
After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazfit Stratos 3 / A1929 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL322728H)

This is a 270mAh (1.04Wh) 3.85V lithium-polymer cell built to the PL322728H specification. It fits the Amazfit A1929 and Stratos 3 smartwatch platforms. Replace the original cell when the watch no longer holds a charge across a full day of use.

  • A1929 and Stratos 3 compatibility: Both models run the same 3.85V power rail, share the PL322728H cell footprint (27.80 × 22.90 × 3.40mm), and use an identical connector and BMS handshake — a single cell spec covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Stratos 3 platform. The onboard BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the fuel gauge IC registered correctly after a full charge cycle from near-zero.
  • Post-swap charge protocol for the Stratos 3: Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately after fitting this cell and charge to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform loses its voltage reference during a cell swap and cannot recalibrate without a complete charge cycle from near-zero.

Why the Stratos 3 fuel gauge reads incorrectly after a cell swap

The Stratos 3 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state relative to a stored reference voltage. Removing the cell wipes that reference. When a new cell is fitted at partial charge, the IC has no baseline, so it reports an arbitrary percentage — often 0% or a frozen value. A full charge cycle from near-zero writes a new reference and restores accurate reporting. Until that cycle completes, the displayed percentage is not reliable.

New battery draining in one day instead of the expected multi-day window

On the Stratos 3, continuous heart rate monitoring and always-on display mode together draw significantly more current than basic timekeeping. If both are active, a 270mAh cell will deplete far faster than the rated multi-day figure. Check the watch settings and disable continuous HR polling — switching to interval-based sampling (every 5 minutes) measurably reduces draw. GPS activity logging also pulls sustained current; disable background GPS if the watch is not actively recording a session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amazfit Stratos 3 shows 0% and won't turn on right after I swapped the battery — did I get a dead cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Stratos 3 loses its voltage reference when the original cell is removed, and with no baseline it defaults to 0% or refuses to boot. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and leave it until the watch confirms a 100% charge — that full cycle re-establishes the IC reference and normal operation resumes.

The Stratos 3 won't pair with my phone after replacing the battery — Bluetooth keeps failing to connect.

Removing the battery terminates the active BLE session and the watch loses its bonded device record in some firmware revisions. On the phone, go into Bluetooth settings, forget the Stratos 3 entirely, then open the Zepp app and re-pair from scratch. Do not attempt to reconnect from the Bluetooth menu alone — the app pairing handshake is required to re-establish the full data channel.

The charge contacts on my Stratos 3 magnetic charger aren't making contact after I reassembled the watch — it just sits on the dock without charging.

The back cover of the Stratos 3 needs to seat flush for the magnetic charging pogo pins to align correctly. Even a 0.5mm shift from a slightly unseated back cover breaks contact. Remove the watch from the charger, press the rear cover firmly around the full perimeter until it clicks flat, then re-place it on the charger — the charging indicator should appear within 10 seconds. If contact is still intermittent, check that no adhesive foam from the battery swap is sitting proud of the back cover recess.
