Fits Amazfit GTR 47mm smartwatch, replaces OEM part number PL502625H.
Voltage is 3.8V, capacity 400mAh — supplies the display, heart rate sensor, and GPS module.
Connector is magnetic pogo pin; align the cell flat against the housing contact plate until seated.
We bench-tested this cell in a GTR 47mm unit; the fuel gauge IC initialized normally on first charge cycle.
After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazfit GTR 47mm — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL502625H)

This is a 3.8V, 400mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Amazfit GTR 47mm smartwatch (model A19029). It replaces OEM part PL502625H and fits directly into the original battery bay. Order this when the factory cell no longer holds a multi-day charge.

  • GTR 47mm and A19029 fitment: Both model references share the same chassis and connector layout. The PL502625H footprint — 24.80 x 24.20 x 5.20mm — matches the original cavity without modification. The BMS handshake and connector polarity are identical across both designations.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the GTR 47mm platform. The fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell, completed its calibration routine, and the watch reported stable state-of-charge readings within one full cycle.
  • Post-swap charge protocol: After fitting this cell, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform cannot calibrate its reference point without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap. Skip this step and the percentage display will drift.

Why the GTR 47mm reports 0% straight after a battery swap

The GTR 47mm uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks state-of-charge by accumulating coulombs from a known reference point. When the old cell is removed, that reference is wiped. The IC wakes up with no calibration data and defaults to 0% until it can re-establish a baseline. A full charge to 100% immediately after the swap gives the IC the upper reference it needs. Do not use the watch until that first full charge completes.

Charge contacts not connecting on the magnetic charger after reassembly

The GTR 47mm's magnetic charging contacts sit on the caseback and align within a narrow tolerance. If the caseback is seated even slightly off-axis during reassembly, the pogo pins on the charger miss the contact pads. The watch will show no charging animation and the battery will stay at 0%. Remove the caseback, re-seat it flat and even pressure around the full perimeter, then test alignment by checking for the charging indicator before closing the case fully.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GTR 47mm won't pair with my phone after I replaced the battery — Bluetooth keeps failing to connect. What's wrong?

Removing the battery cuts power entirely, which drops the active BLE session and can corrupt the pairing record stored on the watch. The phone still sees the old pairing entry, but the watch has no matching record to handshake against. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the Amazfit GTR device, then re-pair from scratch through the Zepp app.

The new battery drains completely in under a day — my old one lasted five or six days even when it was degraded. What's causing this?

Always-on display combined with continuous heart rate monitoring runs a sustained current draw that the fuel gauge IC cannot smooth out until it has completed one full calibration cycle. For the first week after a cell swap, sensor current draw on a new cell's impedance profile can read higher than normal. Turn off always-on display and set heart rate monitoring to 30-minute intervals for three to four days, then re-enable both and check drain rate again.

The heart rate sensor is cycling on constantly and killing the new battery within hours — this didn't happen before. Is the sensor faulty?

A continuous HR polling loop usually means the watch lost its activity profile settings when power was removed during the swap. Without a stored baseline, the sensor defaults to its most aggressive sampling mode. Open the Zepp app, navigate to heart rate settings, and manually set the monitoring frequency back to your preferred interval — auto-adaptive or a fixed rate above 10 minutes will stop the runaway polling.
