Fits Asus Transformer Book T300LA tablet portion using original part number C11N1303 or 0B200-00370100.
This 3.7V 550mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the detachable tablet screen after degradation or failure.
Connector is a single JST plug with flat orientation; seats into the tablet dock with one retention clip on the left edge.
We bench tested insertion and charge acceptance on the T300LA dock — BMS initialized cleanly on first power cycle with no fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Transformer Book T300LA — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11N1303)

This 3.7V 550mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces part number C11N1303 in the detachable tablet portion of the Asus Transformer Book T300LA. It fits the tablet unit itself, not the keyboard dock. Capacity is 2.04Wh — matching the original cell specification exactly.

  • T300LA tablet unit compatibility: The T300LA keyboard dock carries its own separate battery. This cell powers only the tablet half. The connector and BMS handshake point match the original C11N1303 and 0B200-00370100 references, so the system board recognises the replacement without throwing a hardware flag.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a T300LA unit. The charge IC accepted the new cell on the first cycle, BMS communication stayed stable throughout, and no low-voltage cutoff errors appeared during the run.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. This gives the fuel gauge IC one complete data set against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that almost always appear immediately after a battery swap.

Why the T300LA tablet shuts down at 15–25% remaining

The T300LA tablet drives a high-resolution display and maintains a WiFi connection simultaneously. Under that combined load, voltage sags faster than the fuel gauge IC predicts — especially when the gauge is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The BMS reads the voltage cliff as a near-empty state and triggers an emergency cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Running one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle after fitting this replacement resets the gauge threshold and brings the cutoff point back down to the correct level.

Percentage dropping faster than expected from 100% after replacement

This is fuel gauge drift — the IC stored discharge curve data from the old cell and is now misreading the new one. It does not mean the replacement battery is faulty or underspec. The fix is one complete recalibration cycle: discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the gauge reads against the actual capacity of the new cell, and the percentage drop rate normalises to what you would expect from a 550mAh Li-Polymer cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My T300LA tablet is showing 100% then jumping straight down to 60% within a few minutes — is the new battery bad?

The battery is not bad. The fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell and is misreading the new one. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without using it during that charge. One full cycle is enough to recalibrate the gauge against the new cell's actual capacity.

The T300LA tablet cuts off suddenly while the screen says 18% — what's causing that?

The display and WiFi running together pull enough current to cause a voltage sag that the BMS reads as a near-empty cell. The cutoff threshold is being triggered by the voltage drop, not the actual state of charge. Immediately after installation the gauge is still calibrated to the old cell, which makes this worse. Complete one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the BMS cutoff point will move back to where it should be.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery in my T300LA tablet — why?

The charge IC needs one accepted full charge cycle before it re-establishes the correct negotiation with the USB power source. Plug in using the original Asus adapter, let it charge to 100% without interrupting the session, and disconnect. After that first complete cycle the charge IC has the data it needs to negotiate at the higher charge rate on subsequent sessions.
