Fits Corsair K57 RGB Wireless Gaming Keyboard, replaces OEM part RDJ15.
3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity for wireless connectivity and RGB polling cycles.
Single-cell design inserts into the keyboard's battery compartment with a friction-fit terminal contact arrangement.
Bench testing showed clean voltage ramp to 4.2V on first charge; BMS accepted standard 1A input without cutoff.
After swapping this cell, hold the keyboard's wireless pairing button for three seconds — the K57 requires re-handshake after full power loss to restore receiver recognition.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Corsair K57 RGB Wireless Gaming Keyboard — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (RDJ15)

This 3.7V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the internal RDJ15 cell in the Corsair K57 and K57 RGB Wireless Gaming Keyboard. It restores power to both the wireless receiver link and the onboard RGB lighting. Fit the correct cell and the keyboard returns to full function — no firmware changes needed.

  • K57 and K57 RGB compatibility: Both variants share the same internal battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The RDJ15 part number covers the full K57 wireless line, so one cell fits every board in that range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a K57 RGB unit. The onboard BMS accepted the cell without flagging a fault, RGB lighting initialised at full brightness, and the 2.4GHz wireless link held stable throughout testing.
  • RGB draw and charge cycles: The K57 RGB runs lighting and wireless simultaneously from this single cell. Heavy RGB profiles accelerate cycle count faster than office keyboards. Keep RGB effects at mid-brightness when the keyboard is on battery to extend cell life between charges.

Pairing lost after replacing the K57 battery

A full power loss wipes the volatile pairing state on some Corsair wireless keyboards. When the K57 loses all cell voltage during a swap, the USB receiver can no longer find the keyboard on first boot. Unplug the USB receiver, hold the keyboard's wireless connect button for three seconds, then re-insert the receiver. The keyboard re-advertises and the receiver locks on within a few seconds.

K57 RGB shows charging but voltage won't climb past 3.5V

A cell that sits discharged for an extended period can drop below the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.5V. At that point the charger circuit enters trickle mode and may stall before reaching the 4.2V full-charge target. If the keyboard charges for over two hours and the indicator still shows partial, remove the cell, wait 60 seconds, refit it, then reconnect USB power. This resets the charge controller handshake and allows a normal CC/CV charge cycle to begin.

Frequently Asked Questions

My K57 RGB won't reconnect to my PC after I replaced the battery — the USB dongle isn't picking it up at all.

Full cell removal resets the pairing state stored in the keyboard's wireless controller. Unplug the USB receiver from your PC, hold the connect button on the underside of the K57 for three seconds, then plug the receiver back in. The keyboard will re-advertise and the receiver will pair within a few seconds.

The K57 RGB battery drains noticeably faster than it did when the keyboard was new — is that normal wear or something else?

Wireless gaming keyboards with per-key RGB draw significantly more current per cycle than basic wireless keyboards, which compresses the usable cycle life of the original cell faster than most users expect. A degraded cell loses capacity gradually — it still charges to 4.2V but holds far fewer coulombs per cycle. Replacing the RDJ15 cell restores rated capacity. To slow the next cell's wear, drop RGB brightness below 50% when running on battery.

My K57 has been sitting unused for several months and now won't power on at all — not even with USB connected.

A cell left in a deep-discharged state can drop below 2.5V, which is the threshold where the BMS locks out normal charging to protect against lithium plating. The keyboard won't respond because the charge circuit is in lockout, not because the board itself is faulty. Connect USB, wait five minutes for trickle current to nudge the cell above the lockout threshold, then disconnect and reconnect USB to trigger a full charge cycle. If the cell won't recover past 3.0V after 30 minutes on charge, replace the RDJ15 cell.
