Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Deerma DEM-U10 / DEM-U20 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (V2315-7S1P-SCA)
This is a 25.2V 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Deerma DEM-U10 and DEM-U20 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers V2315-7S1P-SCA and V2316-7S1P-SCA. If suction has been dropping off faster than it used to, or the unit no longer holds a charge, this battery restores full motor power to the vacuum.
- DEM-U10 and DEM-U20 compatibility: Both models run the same 25.2V seven-cell series configuration and share an identical connector and BMS handshake protocol. Either OEM part number — V2315-7S1P-SCA or V2316-7S1P-SCA — fits both units without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell pack through full charge and discharge cycles on a DEM-U10 body. The BMS correctly flagged overcurrent during a simulated blocked-nozzle draw and cut motor power without tripping the charger circuit on reconnect.
- Dock charging habit on the DEM-U10: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums held on continuous trickle charge develop measurable capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage-sag issue, not always a dead battery. When a filter is even partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain airflow. That elevated draw causes the cell voltage to sag under load, which the BMS reads as low charge and reduces motor speed to protect the pack. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is fine. If sag continues on a clean filter with a new battery, measure resting voltage: a healthy fully charged pack should sit at 25.2V.
Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. It happens when restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — forces the motor to sustain a current draw above the pack's rated threshold. The BMS interrupts power to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clearing the blockage stops the cycle. If cut-outs continue on a clear filter with a new battery, the BMS trip threshold on the replacement cell may be tighter than the original — run a clean-filter pass and check whether the cut-out occurs only under hard carpet load.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Deerma DEM-U10 charges fine but the suction fades out long before the indicator light shows low — is the new battery doing the same thing?
This is voltage sag under load, not a flat battery. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull above rated current, which drags cell voltage down and triggers a premature low-power response from the BMS. Check and clean the filter before concluding the battery is at fault. On a clear filter, a fully charged pack should hold 25.2V at rest.
The motor on my DEM-U20 cuts out after a few seconds on carpet and then comes back when I stop — what's causing that?
That's the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a battery fault. Thick carpet restricts airflow, which makes the motor work harder and draw more current than the pack's protection circuit allows. The BMS cuts power briefly, then resets when demand drops. Clear the nozzle and check the filter — if the cut-out stops on hard floor but persists on carpet only, reduce the suction mode setting to bring motor draw below the BMS threshold.
I left my Deerma vacuum on the charging dock for several weeks and now the new battery doesn't seem to last as long as it did out of the box — did I damage it already?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in cordless vacuums. Holding any Li-ion cell at 100% charge under a trickle current accelerates degradation in the top charge tier. Condition the pack now by running it down to near-depletion on normal use, then charge fully and remove from the dock. Going forward, charge only when depleted and disconnect once the indicator shows full.
