Fits Denon Envaya Mini and DSB-100 portable speakers; replaces OEM part numbers CABICR18650-260 and CA-B2120265.
3.7V nominal, 2600mAh capacity delivers 9.62Wh total energy to restore full playtime on this compact speaker.
18650 form factor with flat positive terminal; seats into cylindrical slot with spring contact at negative end.
We bench-tested this cell in the Envaya Mini and confirmed BMS acceptance on first charge; no fault codes or cutoff events.
On daily-use speakers, discharge below 20% once monthly before recharging — constant top-offs cause fuel gauge drift and accelerate capacity fade on the Li-ion pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Denon Envaya Mini / DSB-100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CABICR18650-260)

This 3.7V 2600mAh (9.62Wh) Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Denon Envaya Mini and DSB-100 portable Bluetooth speakers. It fits the 18650-format battery bay and restores full charge capacity when the original cell has degraded. Use this when your speaker no longer holds a charge or shuts down unexpectedly during playback.

  • Envaya Mini and DSB-100 compatibility: Both models run the same internal 18650 single-cell configuration at 3.7V nominal, sharing the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol — one battery covers both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the DSB-100 platform. The onboard BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the fuel gauge calibrated correctly across three full cycles.
  • Monthly discharge cycle for Envaya Mini users: Because this speaker spends most of its life on a desk being topped off constantly, discharge it below 20% at least once a month before recharging. Shallow cycling without a full discharge causes fuel gauge drift and accelerates capacity fade in single-cell Li-ion configurations like this one.

Audio distortion before the battery indicator reaches empty on the DSB-100

The DSB-100 amplifier draws a sharp current spike at high volume levels. When the cell voltage sags under that load — typically below 3.4V — the amplifier clips before the fuel gauge registers empty. This makes the speaker sound distorted while the indicator still shows charge remaining. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance holds voltage under load, which pushes that clipping threshold back toward true empty.

Envaya Mini not waking from USB charge after sitting unused for weeks

A deeply discharged Li-ion cell can drop below the minimum acceptance voltage for the USB charging circuit — typically under 2.5V — causing the charger to refuse to initiate a charge cycle. The speaker appears completely dead even when plugged in. Some units recover if you hold the power button for 10 seconds while connected, which forces the controller to attempt a trickle pre-charge. If that fails, the cell has self-discharged past recovery and replacement is the only fix.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Denon Envaya Mini shows a full charge but audio cuts out after about an hour of use — is the battery dying?

Yes — this is classic capacity fade from shallow cycling. The cell still charges to its nominal voltage, but usable capacity has shrunk, so the speaker hits its low-voltage cutoff long before the indicator reflects it. Replacing the cell restores the full 2600mAh capacity. After fitting the new battery, run three full discharge-and-recharge cycles to calibrate the onboard fuel gauge.

Bluetooth keeps dropping on the Envaya Mini when I push the volume past halfway — was it fine before?

High volume triggers a combined current spike from both the amplifier and the Bluetooth radio simultaneously. If the battery cell has elevated internal resistance from age or shallow cycling, voltage sags under that combined draw and the radio drops its connection to stay within operating range. A degraded cell can't sustain the current burst — a new 3.7V cell with low internal resistance handles it without voltage sag. Check that the replacement cell is seated flush so contact resistance at the terminals stays minimal.

The Envaya Mini gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment during long play sessions — is that normal or a sign of a bad cell?

Some warmth is expected — the amplifier generates heat, and the Li-ion cell adds discharge heat on top of that inside a compact fabric-covered enclosure. However, if the heat is sharp rather than mild, that usually points to elevated internal resistance in a degraded cell working harder to deliver the same current. A replacement cell running at correct internal resistance runs measurably cooler under the same load. If the warmth persists after replacement, check that the USB port is not simultaneously charging while playing, as that adds another heat source.
