Dynabook Satellite Pro C40-K Series — 11.55V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PS0132UA1BRS)
This 11.55V, 3950mAh (45.62Wh) lithium-polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Dynabook Satellite Pro C40-K series. It fits the C40-K-00L007, C40-K-00Q007, C40-K-0CV007, and C40-K-14250 among others. Connector layout and BMS communication lines match the OEM spec PS0132UA1BRS exactly.
- Satellite Pro C40-K platform fit: These C40-K variants share the same 11.55V three-cell Li-Polymer configuration, connector pinout, and BMS data lines. The same battery rail powers all of them, so one cell covers the range without rewiring or adapters.

This is a firmware behaviour, not a fault with the replacement. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a complete uninterrupted charge cycle resets the learn cycle and clears the warning.
Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge remaining after battery swap
This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old, degraded cell. It maps the new cell's voltage curve incorrectly, so it reads 20–30% at a point where the cell is actually near its floor voltage. Under full CPU and display load, the cell voltage drops sharply at that point and the system cuts out. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full charge cycles to force the gauge IC to relearn the new cell's voltage curve. Why does the Satellite Pro C40-K stop charging at 80% with this replacement cell?
The C40-K BIOS includes a charge-limit setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce wear over long-term mains use. This is a firmware control, not a battery fault. Open Dynabook Settings or the pre-installed battery care utility, locate the charge mode setting, and switch it from "Eco Charge" or "Adaptive" to "Full Charge" — the cell will then charge to 100%.
The system info panel shows the wrong Wh rating for this replacement — is the battery actually the correct capacity?
The Wh figure shown in system info is pulled from a static value written into the battery's EEPROM at manufacture, and it can differ slightly from the actual cell chemistry rating. This cell is rated at 45.62Wh. If the displayed figure is close but not exact, that's an EEPROM label difference — not an underspec cell.
