Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Electrolux Pure F9 / FlexLift PF9 Series — 36V Li-ion Replacement Battery (140144439084)
This is a 36V, 3000mAh (108Wh) lithium-ion replacement battery for the Electrolux Pure F9 and FlexLift PF9 series cordless stick vacuums. It fits the PF91-6BWF and the broader Pure F9 FlexLift range. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same charging circuit.
- Pure F9 and FlexLift PF9 platform fit: These models share the same 36V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The OEM part numbers 140144439084 and 56646710099 cover the full range, so one cell covers the entire F9 family without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on a Pure F9 unit. The BMS handshake completed correctly, the charger recognised the cell without fault codes, and the motor draw stayed within BMS trip thresholds across all suction modes.
- Dock charging practice on the Pure F9: The Pure F9 charging dock does not cut power automatically when the battery reaches full. Leaving the vacuum docked continuously exposes the lithium cells to sustained trickle current. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock to protect cell capacity over time.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked or airflow is restricted, the motor draws above its rated current. The BMS reads the resulting voltage sag as a low-battery condition and reduces power output to protect the cells. The battery indicator can still show two or three bars while suction falls noticeably. Check and clean the filter first — if sag continues on a clean filter, the cell itself may have degraded below 32V under load.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. The BMS shuts the output when sustained high current — typically from a blocked filter or partial blockage in the brush head — exceeds the trip threshold. After a short pause the BMS resets and power returns. The trip is a protection event, not a fault in the replacement cell. Clear the blockage or filter restriction and the trip stops. If the motor still trips on a clear filter, check that the brush head roll is not jammed, as a seized roll drives the same overcurrent condition.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Pure F9 suction feels weak even though the battery shows it's not low — what's happening?
This is voltage sag under restricted airflow, not a flat battery. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated, which drops cell voltage under load — the BMS reads this as reduced power headroom and cuts motor output. The battery indicator measures resting voltage, so it can still show charged while suction suffers. Clean the filter and check the brush head for blockage, then test at full suction mode again.
The motor on my Pure F9 keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — is the battery faulty?
That pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed cell. When airflow is blocked — usually a clogged filter or a jammed brush roll — the motor draws above the BMS trip threshold and the output shuts momentarily to protect the cells. The BMS resets itself after a short pause, which is why power returns. Clear the filter and check the brush roll is spinning freely; if the cut-outs stop, the replacement cell is fine.
My Pure F9 battery fades much faster than it used to — I leave it on the dock between uses. Could the dock be causing it?
Yes, continuous dock charging is a well-documented cause of capacity fade in lithium-ion cordless vacuums. The Pure F9 dock does not stop delivering current once the battery reaches full charge, so cells sitting on the dock experience prolonged trickle current that accelerates capacity loss. A replacement cell will restore rated capacity, but it will degrade at the same rate if left on the dock indefinitely. Charge to full, remove the vacuum from the dock, and store it off the charger until the next clean.
