Fits HTC Desire 300, Desire 301, Desire 301e with OEM part number BP6A100 replacement.
Supplies 3.8V and 1650mAh capacity — restores full charge cycles to your smartphone's processor, display, and wireless functions.
Connector type matches original; physical dimensions 51.70 x 51.15 x 5.30mm seat flush in the battery slot without modification.
We bench-tested the BMS on a Desire 300 charging circuit; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell after one full discharge-charge cycle without lockout.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled — this lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Desire 300 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP6A100)

This is a 3.8V, 1650mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the HTC Desire 300, 301, 301e, and Z3 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers BP6A100 and 35H00190-09M. If your Desire 300 shuts down unexpectedly, no longer holds charge, or won't power on, this is the cell to replace.

  • Desire 300 / 301 / 301e / Z3 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and charge IC handshake. One cell covers all four variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on a Desire 300 unit. The BMS accepted the charge protocol correctly, the fuel gauge IC registered the new cell, and charge termination triggered at the expected cutoff voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this battery, run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. This lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping it causes the OS to report inaccurate percentages for several days.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Desire 300 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the old cell's discharge curve to estimate remaining capacity. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under display or modem load before the OS thinks it's near empty. The phone cuts out to protect the cell even though the percentage shown looked safe. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete uninterrupted charge forces the coulomb counter to map the actual curve — after that cycle, reported percentage tracks correctly.

Device won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal charging to prevent charging a damaged cell. Plugging into a standard charger appears to do nothing. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 3.0V, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC Desire 300 shows 25% battery, then shuts off without warning — is this the new battery or a software bug?

This is a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a software bug and not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter inside the phone was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads where the voltage cliff on the new cell actually falls. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. After that cycle the percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery — what's happening?

On the first charge cycle, the charge IC on the Desire 300 negotiates the charge protocol against the new cell's internal resistance profile. If the BMS detects an unfamiliar impedance signature, it drops back to standard 5V charging rather than engaging any elevated charge rate. This is normal protective behaviour. Complete one full standard charge cycle first — most units accept the faster rate from the second cycle onward once the BMS has mapped the cell.

The phone feels warm around the battery area during the first few charges after fitting this cell — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth on the first one or two charge cycles is expected. A new cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat while pushing current into it. That warmth should reduce noticeably after two or three full cycles as impedance settles. If the back of the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, remove the phone from any case to improve airflow and confirm the charger output does not exceed 5V/1A for these early cycles.
