Fits HTC Jetstream tablet models BG09100, 35H00161-00P, 35H00161-00M battery replacements.
3.7V, 6800mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge cycles to aging tablets with degraded original packs.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tabs — push until seated flush.
We charged this cell in a Jetstream test unit; the BMS accepted the new pack without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Jetstream / Puccini — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BG09100)

This is a 3.7V, 6800mAh Li-Polymer battery for the HTC Jetstream tablet. It fits the Jetstream, Puccini, P715a, and Jetstream 10.1. Direct swap for the original BG09100, 35H00161-00P, and 35H00161-00M cells.

  • Jetstream / Puccini platform fit: These models share the same mainboard voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on the Jetstream mainboard. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on first contact and reported state-of-charge correctly after one calibration cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This forces the fuel gauge IC to map its thresholds against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

Jetstream shutting down at 15–25% remaining

The Jetstream drives a large IPS display and simultaneous LTE and WiFi radios. Under that combined load, the battery voltage drops sharply in the lower charge range. The BMS hits its low-voltage cutoff before the OS fuel gauge reaches 0%, so the tablet shuts down with percentage still showing on screen. One full discharge-to-cutoff cycle followed by a complete charge resets the gauge and aligns the cutoff point with the displayed percentage. Target a resting voltage of 4.18–4.20V at full charge to confirm the cell is within spec.

Fast charging not available after battery swap

The Jetstream's charge IC uses a negotiation cycle to validate the connected cell before enabling higher charge current. On first use after a swap, the IC defaults to trickle rate until it completes one accepted charge cycle. Plug into the original HTC charger — third-party adapters may not satisfy the voltage handshake — and allow a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that first cycle, the charge IC unlocks normal charge current on subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Jetstream is showing 60% battery but it just shut off — why?

The display backlight and active radios pull peak current in the lower charge range, which causes a sharp voltage sag. The BMS trips its low-voltage cutoff before the fuel gauge reaches zero, so the tablet dies while the percentage still reads mid-range. This clears after one full discharge-to-automatic-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, confirm resting voltage reads 4.18–4.20V to verify the cell is calibrated.

Battery percentage is jumping around after I installed the new cell — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the Jetstream mainboard was calibrated to the old battery's discharge curve, so it reads inaccurately against a new cell until it learns the new one. Run the tablet from 100% down to automatic shutoff without interruption, then charge straight back to 100% without unplugging. That single full cycle forces the IC to recalibrate its reference points against the new cell, and percentage reporting stabilises from that point forward.

The tablet feels warm while charging the new battery — is the cell overheating?

Warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal. The charge IC runs a conditioning pass on a new cell to measure internal resistance and set current limits, and that process generates more heat than steady-state charging. Surface temperature should stay below 40°C to the touch. If the back of the tablet becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, stop the charge, let it cool to room temperature, and restart — the charge IC will resume from where it left off.
