Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Infinity One Premium — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (MLP5457115-2S)
This 7.4V, 5000mAh (37Wh) Li-Polymer pack replaces the OEM battery in the Infinity One Premium portable Bluetooth speaker. It slots into the same cell bay and reconnects to the same BMS handshake points as the original. Use this when the existing pack no longer holds a charge or swells inside the housing.
- Infinity One Premium compatibility: The One Premium uses a 7.4V two-cell Li-Polymer configuration with a fixed connector and BMS communication line. This replacement matches that cell topology, connector pinout, and cell dimensions (117.00 × 57.30 × 12.13mm) so the speaker's protection circuit reads the pack correctly.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and load discharge passes. The BMS held cell balance across both cells without triggering overcurrent cutoff, and the speaker's charge indicator tracked state-of-charge accurately through the full swing.
- Monthly discharge cycle for the One Premium: Let the speaker play down below 20% at least once a month before recharging. The One Premium is typically left on a desk and topped off constantly — that shallow-cycle habit drifts the fuel gauge and shrinks usable capacity faster than normal discharge does.
Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty on the One Premium
At high playback volume, the amplifier and Bluetooth radio draw together can pull the pack voltage below the amplifier's clean operating threshold before the fuel gauge registers low. When cell voltage sags under that combined load, the amp clips the signal instead of cutting out cleanly. The distortion sounds like crackling or thinning bass at full volume, but the LED still shows two or three bars. Dropping volume one or two steps reduces instantaneous current draw and typically clears the distortion immediately.
One Premium won't wake up from USB-C after sitting discharged for several weeks
Li-Polymer cells that self-discharge below roughly 2.5V per cell (5.0V pack total) drop under the minimum acceptance voltage for USB-C Power Delivery negotiation. The charger cannot initiate a session because the pack won't respond to the PD handshake. Use a charger with a trickle or pre-charge mode — or hold the power button for 10 seconds while the cable is connected — to push a small recovery current into the cells before normal charging resumes. Once the pack climbs above 6.0V, standard USB-C charging takes over automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Infinity One Premium shows full charge but audio cuts out or weakens after about an hour of play — is that a battery problem?
Yes, and it is a specific one: shallow cycling has caused fuel gauge drift on the original pack. The cell's actual capacity has dropped, but the BMS still reports 100% based on a reference curve that no longer matches reality. This replacement pack resets that baseline — the speaker's charge indicator will track true state-of-charge again from the first full charge cycle. Charge to 100%, then let it discharge past 20% before plugging back in to keep the gauge calibrated.
Bluetooth drops out or stutters when the One Premium is turned up loud, but reconnects fine at lower volume — what causes that?
At high volume, the amplifier and the Bluetooth radio draw current simultaneously, and the combined spike can pull pack voltage down fast enough to trigger the BMS undervoltage threshold for a fraction of a second. That brief cutoff interrupts the radio's power supply and breaks the Bluetooth link. A degraded original battery with higher internal resistance makes the sag worse. This replacement pack has lower internal resistance, so voltage holds steadier under that combined amp-plus-radio load — test it at full volume after the first full charge cycle.
The One Premium feels noticeably warm on the fabric surface during long playback sessions — is that coming from the battery?
Both the amplifier board and the discharging Li-Polymer cells generate heat, and the fabric housing traps it. A degraded original cell with elevated internal resistance produces more heat per milliamp drawn, compounding the amplifier's own thermal output. This replacement pack runs at rated internal resistance, which reduces the battery's contribution to that heat buildup. If the housing still runs hot after the swap, check that the speaker's ventilation points on the chassis are not blocked by a case or fabric cover.
