Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Laresar L6 Pro — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V 6700mAh (96.48Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Laresar L6 Pro cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded or the battery no longer holds a charge. Fitting it restores the vacuum's motor voltage and suction output to factory levels.
- L6 Pro motor rail compatibility: The L6 Pro motor runs on a 14.4V cell arrangement with a specific connector and BMS handshake. This pack matches that voltage rail and connector format, so the vacuum's power management system recognises the battery and allows the motor to run at full draw.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles and monitored BMS response under sustained motor load. The protection circuit held within spec on high-draw passes, and cell balance stayed consistent across multiple discharge cycles.
- Dock charging on the L6 Pro: Do not leave the L6 Pro sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock charging keeps the cells at full voltage with a trickle current — this accelerates capacity fade faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
On the L6 Pro, suction can drop noticeably while the battery indicator still shows two or three bars. This happens because a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw higher current than rated, which causes the cell voltage to sag under load. The BMS reads that voltage sag and throttles motor output to protect the cells — even though overall charge looks fine. Clean the filter first, then check that the suction path is clear. If suction restores at full power, the filter was the cause, not the battery.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the suction path is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or a carpet fibre caught in the brush roll — the motor works harder and current spikes above the BMS threshold. The protection circuit opens to prevent cell damage, which kills power. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the blockage and empty the dustbin before restarting. If the cutout continues on a clear path, check cell voltage at the pack — a rested pack should read at or above 14.4V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Laresar L6 Pro suction drops off well before the battery shows low — is this the battery or something else?
Most of the time this is a restricted filter forcing the motor to pull more current than rated, which causes cell voltage to sag under load — the BMS throttles motor output even though overall charge looks healthy. Check and clean the filter first, then empty the dustbin and clear the brush roll. If suction returns to full strength after clearing, the battery was not at fault. If suction is still weak on a clean filter with a fully charged pack, the cells have faded and the battery needs replacing.
The L6 Pro motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then coming back on — what's causing that?
That behaviour is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a faulty battery. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, full bin, or tangled brush roll — the motor draws current above the protection threshold and the circuit opens to prevent cell damage. Clear the blockage, empty the bin, and restart. If the cutout repeats on a fully clear airflow path, check that the pack rests at or above 14.4V before use.
The new battery faded much faster than expected — we only got a few months before runtime dropped sharply. What went wrong?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on cordless vacuums like the L6 Pro. Leaving the vacuum on the dock permanently keeps the cells at full voltage with a low-level trickle current, which stresses lithium-ion cells and degrades capacity faster than regular charge-and-discharge cycling. With this replacement pack, charge to full, then unplug or remove the vacuum from the dock until the next cleaning session. Repeating that cycle consistently will preserve cell capacity significantly longer.
