Fits Lenovo ET180 smartphones and replaces OEM part number PE2021.
3.7V and 1500mAh capacity delivers the original runtime on fully charged cycles.
Connector and locking mechanism match the ET180 battery slot; physical fit is direct.
We bench-tested this cell in an ET180 test unit; the BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before USB-PD operation resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo ET180 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PE2021)

This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion battery for the Lenovo ET180 smartphone. It replaces OEM part number PE2021. Fit this cell when the original no longer holds a charge or the device shuts down unexpectedly.

  • ET180 platform fit: The ET180 uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion configuration with a matching connector and BMS communication line. The replacement cell matches the voltage rail and connector pinout so the charge IC and fuel gauge IC communicate correctly from the first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran full charge and discharge cycles on the ET180 with this cell installed. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through a complete cycle without dropout.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ET180 after a cell swap

The ET180's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell. A new cell with slightly different internal impedance hits a voltage cliff at a different state-of-charge than the old curve predicts. The OS reads 25% remaining, but the cell voltage drops below the modem's minimum rail under load and the phone cuts out. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the premature cutoff.

ET180 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell dropped below 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and will not pass current to the device. Plug into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically 2.9V, after which the phone will power on normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Lenovo ET180 show a different battery percentage after fitting the new PE2021 cell — it jumped from 40% to 15% with no warning?

The fuel gauge IC on the ET180 is calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. When a new cell with different internal impedance is installed, the stored curve no longer matches actual voltage-to-capacity mapping, so the percentage reading jumps or drops erratically. Run one complete discharge cycle — use the phone until it shuts itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell and stabilises the percentage readout.

The Lenovo ET180 feels warm near the battery area during the first few charges after fitting the replacement — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell. The charge IC pushes current into a higher-resistance cell, and the extra energy dissipates as heat. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell's impedance settles. If the device stays warm past the fourth full cycle or becomes hot to the touch, check that the battery connector is fully seated and that no foreign material is between the cell and the rear cover.

Fast charging stopped working on the ET180 after I installed the new battery — the phone only charges slowly now?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC and BMS negotiate current limits conservatively because the fuel gauge IC has no stored data for the new cell's state-of-charge. The phone defaults to slow charging until the controller confirms the cell is responding within expected voltage parameters. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charging will re-engage once the controller has a baseline reading from the new cell at full charge.
