Fits LG KU310 and KG311 phones — replaces original 3.7V Li-ion battery pack.
3.7V, 650mAh chemistry delivers steady power for calls, messaging, and standby use on this device.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot — no modification needed, standard LG smartphone orientation.
We bench-tested this cell in a KU310 unit; the BMS accepted charge without lockout and held voltage under modem load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without answering high-draw calls — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before the phone reports incorrect percentage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG KU310 / KG311 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 650mAh (2.41Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the LG KU310 and KG311 mobile phones. It slots into either handset to restore power when the original cell has degraded or stopped holding a charge. Fit model and voltage match the original spec directly.

  • KU310 and KG311 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, so a single cell covers both. The BMS handshake on each device accepts the same charge profile, no firmware differences affect charging behaviour.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge and charge sequence, confirming the BMS accepted the charge profile without cutoff events and that voltage held stable under simulated call and screen load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable any fast-charge mode and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Why the KU310 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The KU310 uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The IC reads voltage and maps it to the old curve, producing percentage figures that are off — sometimes by 15–20%. One full discharge down to automatic cutoff followed by a full charge resets the reference data the gauge uses. After that cycle, reported percentage tracks closely with actual remaining capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to a worn cell with a shallow voltage cliff. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop near depletion, and under modem or screen load, terminal voltage dips below the protection threshold before the gauge shows 0%. The phone interprets that voltage sag as a fault and cuts power. Run one full supervised discharge cycle — let the phone shut itself off naturally — then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the gauge recalibrates and the early-shutdown behaviour stops.

Frequently Asked Questions

The KU310 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell during storage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits on this cell will accept a trickle charge at this stage and release the lockout once voltage climbs back above 2.8V, at which point the phone will boot normally.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is something wrong?

That's normal on the first one or two charge cycles with a new cell. A fresh high-impedance Li-ion cell generates slightly more heat as the charge IC negotiates current into it before internal resistance settles. If the warmth fades after the second full charge cycle, nothing is wrong. If the phone stays hot through the third cycle or gets uncomfortable to hold, remove the battery and check that the contact pins are seated flush — a misaligned pin increases resistance and sustained heat.

The battery percentage on the KU310 is jumping around erratically — 60% one minute, 45% the next — what causes that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve and producing unstable readings until it has enough data. This typically settles after one or two full discharge-charge cycles. Avoid topping up in short bursts during this period — partial charges give the IC less data to work with and extend the erratic phase. Let the phone run down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and repeat once more if needed.
