Fits Lingrui S1 PRO, S1 X1, S2 PRO notebooks; replaces original 14.8V Li-Polymer pack.
14.8V, 4000mAh (59.2Wh) restores full charge cycles on models that shipped with degraded original cells.
Connector and locking tab match OEM slot orientation; physical fit is direct without modification required.
Bench testing showed normal BMS response on first charge cycle; cell voltage held steady under sustained CPU load.
After installation, run one complete discharge to auto-off then uninterrupted charge to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lingrui S1 PRO / S1 X1 / S2 PRO — 14.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V, 4000mAh (59.2Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lingrui S1 PRO, S1 X1, and S2 PRO laptops. It replaces a failed or degraded original cell and restores portable operation without AC power. Voltage and connector match the original specification across all three models.

  • S1 PRO, S1 X1, and S2 PRO compatibility: All three models run the same 14.8V battery rail with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, so one replacement cell covers the entire platform without wiring or firmware differences.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the S1 PRO platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the motherboard, charge termination triggered at 100%, and low-voltage cutoff engaged at the expected threshold before cell damage could occur.
  • Post-install calibration cycle: After fitting this battery, run a full discharge down to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on Lingrui hardware.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after replacement

The BIOS stores capacity and health data in EEPROM tied to the original cell. When a new cell is installed, that stored data no longer matches the actual chemistry, so the firmware flags poor health immediately. This is not a fault with the replacement battery. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS to rewrite the learn-cycle data against the new cell. After two to three cycles the health indicator should read normal.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% charge remaining

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The OS reads a percentage based on old EEPROM data, but the cell hits its real voltage floor earlier than the software expects — triggering an abrupt shutdown. It is not a defective cell. Run three complete discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles to allow the fuel gauge IC to remap the curve. After calibration, the shutdown threshold should align with the actual remaining capacity, and the display should read 0–5% before hibernate engages.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Lingrui laptop shows the battery as 0% or "unknown" right after I installed the new cell — is something wrong with it?

The fuel gauge IC is still reading EEPROM data written by the original cell, so it has no valid reference point for the new chemistry. Nothing is wrong with the replacement. Plug in the AC adapter, let it charge to 100% without interrupting it, then discharge fully to hibernate cutoff. That first complete cycle gives the IC a baseline to work from and the percentage display will stabilise within two to three cycles.

System info shows the battery capacity as a different Wh rating than the 59.2Wh listed on the product — which one is correct?

The Wh figure shown in system info is pulled from the EEPROM on the original cell's data, not measured from the new chemistry. The actual rated capacity of this replacement is 59.2Wh at 14.8V and 4000mAh. Run the battery learn cycle — one full discharge to hibernate, one uninterrupted charge to 100% — and the BIOS will overwrite the stale EEPROM figure with data from the new cell. After that cycle the reported Wh should align with the rated spec.

The new battery stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — is the cell faulty?

An 80% charge ceiling is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Many Lingrui laptops ship with a battery conservation or threshold mode enabled in firmware that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell wear during AC-heavy use. Go into the power or battery settings in your OS, or check the BIOS battery options directly, and disable the charge threshold or conservation mode. Once that setting is off, charge the battery to 100% to confirm the limit is cleared.
