Swapping this cell restores the speaker's full charge capacity at the correct voltage the amplifier and Bluetooth radio expect.

If it does, measure the cell's resting voltage after a full charge — a healthy 3.7V nominal cell should rest at 4.1–4.2V fully charged; a reading below 4.0V after a full charge cycle confirms the cell has degraded and needs replacing.
