Fits Logitech UE Ultimate, UE MegaBoom 2, and UE Kora Boom speakers; replaces OEM part 533-000104.
3.7V 3400mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity on Logitech's wireless platform without voltage sag under combined Bluetooth and amplifier draw.
Connector seats flush into the battery cavity with a single locking tab; orientation marked on the housing — no force required on insertion.
We bench-tested this cell on the UE Ultimate's charging circuit; the BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with normal charge curve.
On first three charge cycles, run the speaker at moderate volume only — high-volume playback forces the amplifier to draw peak current simultaneously with charging, which can cause temporary fuel gauge drift on the fresh cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech UE Ultimate / UE MegaBoom 2 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (533-000104)

This 3.7V 3400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Logitech UE Ultimate, UE MegaBoom 2, UE Kora Boom, and S-00122 portable Bluetooth speakers. It matches OEM part numbers 533-000104 and F12431581. Capacity figures come from the product data — 12.58Wh total.

  • UE Ultimate and MegaBoom 2 platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on a UE MegaBoom 2 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without flagging an authentication error, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V.
  • Monthly discharge cycle for fuel gauge accuracy: For speakers used daily on a desk, let the cell drop below 20% at least once a month before recharging. Constant top-off charging without a full discharge causes fuel gauge drift — the indicator reads full while actual capacity has dropped significantly.

Capacity fade from constant desk-top charging on the UE Ultimate

Li-ion cells age fastest when held near full charge for extended periods. The UE Ultimate is commonly left plugged in on a desk, which keeps the cell sitting at 4.1–4.2V continuously. At that voltage, electrolyte oxidation accelerates and active material degrades faster than it would during normal charge-discharge cycling. Replacing the cell and changing the charging habit — unplugging once full — slows the next cycle of capacity loss.

Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty

This happens when the cell voltage sags under the combined load of the amplifier and Bluetooth radio before the fuel gauge registers low. The amplifier clips because supply voltage drops below its operating threshold while the indicator still shows charge remaining. It is a voltage sag symptom, not a firmware fault. Check open-circuit cell voltage — if it reads below 3.5V under light load, the cell has lost internal resistance tolerance and needs replacing.

Frequently Asked Questions

My UE MegaBoom 2 shows full charge but the audio cuts out after about an hour of use — is that the battery?

Yes — this is fuel gauge drift caused by shallow cycling. When the speaker is topped off before it drops below 50%, the onboard gauge loses calibration and reports higher charge than the cell actually holds. Run the speaker down below 20% before the next charge to force a gauge recalibration cycle. If cutouts continue after two full cycles, measure open-circuit voltage — a healthy cell reads 3.7V or above at rest.

Bluetooth keeps dropping specifically when I turn the volume up loud on the UE Ultimate — the battery looks fine otherwise.

High volume pushes the amplifier hard, and the combined current draw from the amp and Bluetooth radio causes the cell voltage to sag momentarily. When voltage dips below the radio's operating floor, the Bluetooth stack drops the connection to protect itself. This is a cell-condition issue — a degraded cell cannot sustain the current spike. Replace the cell and confirm resting voltage sits at or above 3.7V before assuming it is a firmware or pairing problem.

The speaker won't wake up from USB charging after it went completely flat — charging light won't come on at all.

A deeply discharged Li-ion cell can drop below the USB-C PD minimum acceptance voltage, around 2.5–3.0V, and the charger simply refuses to initiate. The BMS blocks charge input to protect against charging a critically low cell at full current. Try a 5V/500mA trickle source — a basic USB-A port rather than a fast charger — and leave it connected for 20 minutes. If the charge indicator still does not activate, the cell has dropped below recovery threshold and needs replacing.
