This is a reporting artefact, not a compatibility problem. The correct value for this battery is 65.12Wh — if the system shows a different number, run a full discharge-to-hibernate cycle and let the fuel gauge IC recalculate against real discharge data.

The fuel gauge is jumping around — showing 80%, then 45%, then 60% within minutes on the Mitel notebook. Is the cell faulty?

The fuel gauge IC needs at least two full calibration cycles against a new cell before its readings stabilise. Until it maps the actual voltage-to-capacity curve of the replacement cell, percentage readings will be erratic under varying loads. Run two complete discharge-to-hibernate cycles with the laptop under normal use, charging fully between each.
