Fits OnePlus 3, 3 Dual SIM, A3000, A3003 — replaces OEM part BLP613.
3.8V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to this device.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with standard locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested the BMS against a stock OnePlus 3 charge IC; no fault codes on initial insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OnePlus 3 / A3000 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP613)

This is a 3.8V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer cell for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3 Dual SIM (models A3000 and A3003). It replaces the original BLP613 when the factory cell can no longer hold a charge or fails to charge at all. Capacity is rated at 11.4Wh and the cell dimensions are 82.00 × 62.50 × 3.90mm.

  • A3000 and A3003 fit: Both variants share the same battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BLP613 spec covers both — same voltage rail, same physical footprint, same thermistor line.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on an A3000 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, the thermistor line read correctly, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge without triggering a cutoff event.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable Dash Charge and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard 5V charging. This gives the coulomb counter a clean baseline against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated gauge.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a fresh BLP613 cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The OnePlus 3 reads voltage-based state-of-charge, and a new cell has a slightly different voltage cliff at low charge levels. The phone sees what it thinks is a valid 25% charge, but the new cell's voltage drops below the modem or display load threshold before the gauge catches up. One full discharge to automatic power-off, followed by a complete charge, resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the false shutdown.

OS percentage jumping erratically after cell replacement

The fuel gauge IC on the OnePlus 3 stores learned capacity data from the previous cell in a register that is not cleared by powering off. After a cell swap, the old learned values no longer match the new cell's actual charge curve, so the reported percentage skips around. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is the gauge recalibrating in real time. Two complete discharge and charge cycles at standard voltage will stabilise the readings. If jumping continues after three cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated at pin 4, the thermistor contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

My OnePlus 3 won't power on at all after the new BLP613 sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, which triggers at approximately 2.5V per cell. The BMS cuts all output to prevent damage, so the phone sees no power and won't respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a 5V USB charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until the BMS re-initialises and releases the cutoff. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, the cell has recovered and normal charging resumes.

Dash Charge isn't kicking in on the first charge after I swapped the battery — standard slow charging only. What's wrong?

The OnePlus Dash Charge handshake requires the BMS on the new cell to complete one full communication cycle with the charge IC before the phone enables high-current mode. On the very first charge after installation, the charge IC runs a verification pass at standard 5V to confirm cell integrity, and Dash Charge is intentionally held back during this pass. Let the first charge complete fully at standard rate without unplugging early. On the second charge cycle, plug in using the original Dash Charge adapter and cable — the handshake will complete and full charging speed will activate.

The OnePlus 3 feels noticeably warm around the battery area while charging the new cell — is that normal?

A new lithium-polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell, so more energy is lost as heat during the first few charge cycles. This is expected and the warmth should reduce after three to five charge cycles as impedance settles. The OnePlus 3 charge IC monitors cell temperature via the thermistor line and will throttle current if the cell exceeds its thermal threshold, so there is a hardware limit in place. If the phone stays hot to the touch beyond cycle five, check that the battery connector is fully clicked down — a partially seated connector increases contact resistance and generates additional heat at the pin.
